dreamwolf
it was to my understanding that in the past all non-loser editions were not embossed. even the UK pressing of W&W wasnt embossed. This holds some truth, but even the WO "Colored Vinyl" was embossed. (From my store visit yesterday)

Thereasonbeing
The Paracosm cover art is embossed on mine yeah.. as for Within & Without, there are still coloured vinyl copies at my local store that are embossed, as well as standard black copies that aren't. TPH976
Anybody else ever order from subpop and have their cart system act all glitchy? It always adds items, seemingly at random.

fish
well F*** me. every theory i had is blown out of the water. i have no idea then wtf they decide on this art and shit. I have a black copy of W&W that I ordered directly from Sub Pop months ago and that has the embossed cover exactly like my blue preorder copy. So that makes things even more confusing. Derek™
I think all copies of W&W have the embossed cover, period. Just part of the design.
fish
Ah i didn't notice the person above who said there were no embossed black copies was in the UK. So that must be the UK press.
abovetheearth
Subpop adds a lot to the cart. When I log in, I usually have over $80 worth if shit already in there. It's tradition.

forbenator
Well here's that green we were mainly skeptical about. It's a bit more "jungle" green than "forest" or "lime" << Thank goodness! Beautiful pic man!
agreetodisagree
Looking somebody based in the UK who can score me a black copy from Weird World. Licensing prevents them from shipping the US.

You could try Amazon.co.uk their shipping to the US is flat rate, I think it's 3.99 too.
kas1985
Just got my copy of this in the mail today. Anyone have any issues with this record being warped? I live in an apartment complex with interior corridors and out of direct sun. Thankfully, I don't usually have problems with receiving warped records, but this one is definitely warped. Aych
Went to my local shop on Tuesday, and they said they'd have them on Friday. I was bummed, but I did grab one of the 7"s, which they had a lot of, and I'm going back tomorrow to get the full-length. The wait is almost over. Guest
surprise surprise. 8 pages, and nothing even slightly insightful about the album itself.

The complex I live in has a lock box mailbox on the first floor and he walks my packages up the stairs and leans them up against the door. I make sure to thank him when I get the chance, because I've had much worse. I used to live in a basement apartment and the mailman would throw stuff down the stairs into the door whenever I would get a package.
