But! I'm curious to see what colored vinyl is everyone's favorite. I'm a sucker for art and cool designs so I'm sure it'll be interesting to see some of the color variations out there.

do you guys have any tips for shooting vinyl? is natural light during the day the best time to shoot?

Pretty much. I have a big picture window in my living room. I normally shoot between noon and 3PM when the sun is coming in nice and bright.

some of these look really really good and then the label in the center ruins some of em. Recess Records used to put out really nice colored vinyl and then left the center label blank, but it would go with the color of the record. They did that for the first 300 of the run of records. They only did it for maybe 5, but i always thought it looked awesome. You had to look at the etching to find side A and side B.

I know some people are like me, and whenever I see an awesome looking record of a band I don't know, I have to check them out. So I hope this helps others discover good music.

I realize it's still all about the music, but a little art on the side doesn't hurt.
