magalvsr13
barry should have jumped soon as he saw fisher leave the ground, would have got 3 shots and had a chance to win but as the play turned out - the vast majority of refs arent going to call that, or any foul to decide a game
jhamm212
Spurs sucked tonight. They just couldn't get that big shot to be in the lead/get their momentum going. That last shot had foul written all over it, and while I'll agree they got their fair share of calls earlier in the game, it wasn't anything over the top. I've seen games officiated much worse. I'm actually rooting for the spurs, and i have to say, they did not deserve this win anyway. they were getting beat throughout the whole game, and popovich even said if he officiated that game he would have done the same and not called that foul. barry was not attempting to shoot that ball and should have jumped into it... no ones fault, spurs lost and now have a tough road ahead...hopefully it'll be a bad-ass comeback...but pretty impossible as there are only a handful of teams to comeback from a 3-1 deficit in the playoffs to win
letskissthesky
how about how that fisher shot at the end grazed the rim, which would have made the shot clock reset to 24 instead of the lakers having to inbound and put up a shot with only 2 seconds left on the shot clock. the lakers had it won. the play at the end was not gonna be called a foul. sgoodcore
Bring it on baby!!! Its nice to be back to the Finals. Should be a good series as the Lakers have to win on the road at least once.

jhamm212
I'm boycotting the finals because I think David Stern set up a conspiracy for it to be a Lakers/Celtics series for ratings' sake.

kurtz
I don't really care for either team in it, but I think I'm gonna pull for the Celtics. If you want a prediction... Lakers in 5, Kobe the MVP.
kurtz
0-2, Lakers are in trouble now.
sgoodcore
Lakers aren't in trouble. They haven't lost at home. I would say based on the Celtics down the stretch they have as much to worry about as the Lakers. In the end the foul shot discrepancy was 25 or so and the Lakers almost pulled it out after being down by 24 with a half a quarter left in the game. jhamm212
Yeah that comeback was insane and would have probably gone down in history if they had pulled it off and went on to win the series.
adammuzzy
paul pierce has been dirty as fuck in LA this year. i say celtics in 5, even though i'd like to see a sweep.
celebdeath
who says you can't 'buy' a championship? still, i'd rather the Celtics over Lakers any day of the week. reckon the Lakers have greater depth than Boston, so if it comes right down to the 7th, Lakers to take it. If Boston can take a game from LA at LA, then all change.
sgoodcore
Lakers are in a position at this point where they need all three games at home. Not to say they couldn't win two in a row in Boston but that's not a good place to be. I still think Pierce's knee thing was a little odd but whatever. We'll see what happens in LA for game three. If the Lakers dominate at home similar to the Celtics the series is going 7. And Paul Pierce played the Lakers sans Gasol so past performance should be no indication of future success. sgoodcore
it'll be a bumper of a finals if LA can get both at home. Personally, I'm shooting for three in a row but one tonight would be good. Then we can work on the other two.
