mattstrike
Got Cannonball Adderley and John Coltrane's "Cannonball and Coltrane" on Limelight (Mercury subsidiary) last night from a friend who's gf's father gave him his jazz collection. I nearly fainted from my heart-rate shooting thru the roof. Original Impulse gatefolds, Atlantic, Riverside... all in 100% brand new condition. It was incredible - a record collector's dream. And a way for this guy to retire early.
voodooman595
I bought a pair of Panasonic stereo headphones from the "Stupid Deal of the Day" at Musician's Friend. It has changed the way I listed to CDs. I've never had a good pair of headphones so these are just mind blowing. I haven't yet tested them with records. But I assume that making CDs sound high quality will lead to my ears melting when I listen to vinyl. Happy day. And I bought a tambourine. HAPPY DAY! manicdogbert
Ned's Atomic Dustbin - God Fodder - LP such a great record! where'd you find this? ebay? yep. too bad the fucker who sent it to me ignored my request for the record to be shipped outside of the sleeve. so the cover had seam splits. at least the vinyl itself was in pretty good condition and the guy refunded my shipping because of the damage.
