David The Gnome Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 right, and i ordered the /100 which was supposed to be on color before it sold out. my sleeve is even #d /100. its really not a big deal, but i am just curious as to what happened? Maybe there was a mixup with yours? I can post a pic after work today but mine is 77/100, blue screened cover, purple vinyl with the a single line of faint blue marbling. I'm guessing this was a run of random colors, so for the guy who got "black," maybe try holding it up to a light—it could be a really dark purple or something? As you've noticed, I went a little overboard on the packaging to make up for the wait. It was a lot of work, my favorite shirt and hat STILL smell like ink, and I'm still recovering from the papercuts...but it was worth every bit of it and then some. I do have some of the black run left, in case anyone has a specific cover they wanted. If you'd prefer not to pony up for an extra copy, that's understandable though. Plus trading and hunting is half the fun. And permafaust, if memory serves, there were a few that were very dark purple and slightly translucent (I looked at every single one, because I'm a vinyl nerd and all). That's probably what you got.
