twentytwo
This one kind of came out of nowhere but David Bazan's new record "Care" is up for preorder at Undertow. Link to the new single at the NPR link below. http://www.npr.org/sections/allsong...future-islands-the-black-angels-jacaszek-more https://undertowstore.com/collections/david-bazan/products/care?variant=38215766983 Edited February 7, 2017 by twentytwo
jrodan
wonder if this one will incorporate as many electronic elements as blanco. I enjoyed that album much more than I expected.

I enjoyed that album much more than I expected. I love just about everything Bazan has put out, but I just haven't been able to get into Blanco. Either way, I will purchase this record and hope for the best. Hoping this record is a return to form.
achillesstand7
WOOOOAAAAHHH!!!! Bazan is my favorite. Won't be able to listen to the single until after work, but a new Bazan album always has me giddy.
kjkenney
Soooo excited on this. Blanco was a grower, but classic Bazan through and through. I have always loved Headphones so the electronic side of Bazan is very welcomed by me, just in doses. I saw him play a solo show in November with just an electric guitar and man....his talent is unmatched.
faceghost
Blanco was my favorite album from last year, I love every song on it. Did not expect a new record this year, I can't wait for this. and this new song is amazing. Edited February 7, 2017 by faceghost
Oblivions
Sorry if obvious but it looks like some of these songs are Monthly 7" tracks re-worked, similar to what he did for Blanco. I don't have the tracklists in front of me but some of the names are familiar.

Sparkling Water and Permanent Record are definitely from the 7"s
seangj
The single is nice. 2017 is starting off pretty good with new Bazan, TW, and Lo Tom. Edited February 8, 2017 by seangj

I probably listen to CYB on a weekly basis. It holds up so well. It's for sure my favorite Bazan related record. somethingvinyl
somethingvinyl
Yeah, I'm still a big fan of the PTL stuff, especially since I was a big fan around the Control and AH era stuff. But, CYB, it's sooooooooooo fucking good.

somethingvinyl
Wish I would have had the money to buy the test to support the film. The doc looks great. I could listen to Dave talk about anything all day long.
