I actually used to go on that carousel all the time when I was a kid. Whenever I'm back in RI visiting family, every month or two, I always drive by it. Bring little cousins there in the summer. It's a really cool, old school place. I couldn't believe it was a big enough deal to get the support of a campaign like this and get on Pitchfork and stuff. Really awesome.

I think they probably got in trouble for announcing the fall Boston shows when they are playing Boston on Saturday. I'm sure the presale code will still work whenever the shows go on sale, probably next week.

Ordered the pic discs before seeing the link on here to the splatter... Hmmm... Do I want both?

Finally got to listen through this uninterrupted... and I'm really underwhelmed. The Roots are my favorite group, but this just didn't do much for me. Yeah, there's some interesting arrangements and instrumental sequences and stuff, but the cons outweigh the pros. Only 6 Black Thought verses? And it's only half an hour long? The Roots almost never let me down, but they did here.

I'm into it for sure... After my first listen I was a little let down that the first 3 tracks (the 3 that I have been listening to for weeks) were easily the best 3 on the album. But after giving it more time, there are a lot of songs on here that are really really great.

Definitely want this... but will wait for a different preorder.

My least favorite thing about the album is that I like the first track the most... which really doesnt bother me all that much, haha. Great album. Also really excited to see them live for the first time, as a tour was announced today.

Isn't this out in early June? Where did 7/15 come from?

I think it's a really interesting mix of old and new... It sounds like a return to the more bluesy stuff after El Camino, but at the same time has a modern twist with some synthy elements and things that remind me of the new Broken Bells album (Thanks, Dangermouse.) Overall I really like it.

You win some, you lose some... Managed to fight through and get a Chvrches EP on BullMoose before they ran out (no conf email yet though). But I also got an email from Saki saying they had to cancel and refund my whole order. Managed to grab an Outkast elsewhere but now (just when I thought I was done) I'm on the hunt for Collision Course.

Woodstock has MGMT Oracular Spectacular which I haven't been able to find elsewhere... but $15 for shipping... I'll wait and hope Bull Moose has one for me tomorrow.

Seems hopeless but I need both Chvrches releases (UK "We Sink" 7" and US "Recover" EP) if anyone happens to have extras and wants to work something out.

Saki had 2 of the 3 things I was still looking for... and shipping Media Mail within the US is crazy cheap. Now I just need Chvrches.

If anyone grabs an extra Chvrches (US or UK release), Jay Z & Linkin Park, or Outkast.... Let me know.
