  1. This thread as convinced me to find a Wawa when I'm in Jersey next weekend.
  2. Unfortunately, yeah. But they eventually allowed the album box to be shipped to the US after a while, so I'm hoping the same thing happens with this.
  3. And now a 7" singles box set as well. http://www.myplaydirect.com/suede/suede-7-singles-vinyl-box-set-with-digital-download/details/29627584
  4. The Killers - Hot Fuss OP and 7" box set The Killers - Day & Age The Horrors - Strange House Depeche Mode - Playing the Angel OP R.E.M. - New Adventures in Hi-Fi of Montreal - Cherry Peel Oasis - Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? 2009 represses OPs of all My Chem albums, including TBP box set and /500 splatter Danger Days
  5. Original pressing of David Bowie - Hunky Dory and a Changes 7", both from 1971.
  6. Beatles. As for NMH, I didn't "get" them for years, then one day they just clicked for me, so I can definitely understand those who aren't into them.
  7. Pushing just for "fun" sucks. Especially when a bunch of people decide to do it all at the same time. I've been to shows where people have done this when there weren't even any people onstage and it's so pointless. Also agree on the no smoking thing, especially at an indoor venue. If I'm already having trouble breathing from the amount of people squeezed around me and the temperature from all the body heat, the last thing I want to breathe in is your smoke, thanks.
  8. Seeing Arctic Monkeys and Deerhunter next week, it'll be my first show since Boston Calling in September so it's been quite a while. I love both bands, but in all honesty I think I'm more excited for Deerhunter than AM...
  9. My Bloody Valentine Grizzly Bear Neutral Milk Hotel Foals R.E.M.
  10. I've seen the film twice already - normally I'm pretty "ehh" about the music in the more recent Disney movies, but for whatever reason I loved this soundtrack. I would love to get this, but only if it was a third of the price...
  11. Deerhunter - Revival 7" Deerhunter - Monomania cassette
  12. Great idea for a site, had fun putting all my shows together. Here's my embarrassingly small list. http://www.seendb.com/openupyourskull/
  13. I already have all four MCR albums, but I would gladly pay for a second copy of Three Cheers if it had the original artwork.
  14. Nice little shopping day: Chvurches - The Bones of What You Believe (Red LP) Sufjan Stevens - Illinois (Red and Green 2xLP)
  15. Ordered. Shipping sucks but I know if I don't get it now, I'll be kicking myself when they're going for stupid money on eBay. I saw them last year at the very beginning of their tour in support of Some Nights - front row in a 1,500 person club. It was great.
  16. At this point I'm seriously considering ordering one after Christmas. My vintage Pioneer has pretty much shit the bed so right now I'm stuck using an awful Sony USB table - good excuse to upgrade. Sucks about the no pick-up rule though... I'm probably half an hour from the facility. Damn.
  17. The Cure - 27,533 Radiohead - 15,497 The Horrors - 7,381 Death Cab for Cutie - 4,524 Oasis - 3,741 Joy Division - 3,437 The Killers - 3,364 New Order - 2,468 The Smiths - 1,806 Blur - 1,526
  18. Alright, I think this is the final top 15 for me. 1. Vampire Weekend - Modern Vampires of the City 2. Arcade Fire - Reflektor 3. Atoms for Peace - Amok 4. Arctic Monkeys - AM 5. Deerhunter - Monomania 6. Suede - Bloodsports 7. The Joy Formidable - Wolf's Law 8. My Bloody Valentine - m b v 9. Sigur Ros - Kveikur 10. Savages - Silence Yourself 11. TOY - Join the Dots 12. David Bowie - The Next Day 13. Holy Ghost! - Dynamics 14. Foals - Holy Fire 15. Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
  19. A colored US release would be awesome... I love a lot of Heavenly's current lineup, but the shipping on all their Rough Trade colored exclusives is killer.
  20. Got mine in the mail today with 3 nice bent corners thanks to the bubble mailer it was shipped in. At least the record isn't warped.
