I've always asked the buyer to send it as a gift if they're feeling nice, but if they're not comfortable with that then it's perfectly fine and I just incur the extra fee. Basically I just leave it up to the buyer to be courteous or not. And if they send it as a gift maybe I'll include a few cool stickers or something.

Assuming these ship on time, this might be the first album I listen to on vinyl before digital. Just got a nice new TT and preamp and they've done a good job of not leaking it so I can most likely hold off.

I was reading up about the ebates thing and apparently you can set your account up to either receive the money through PayPal or with a mailed check. To get it through PayPal you have to have a verified PayPal account. There's some dollar minimum that you have to achieve to get any money back at all (I think $10), basically to deter people from signing up and getting the free $5 and then never using it again. The "payout" happens every 3 months, and the next one is on the 15th of August if I remember correctly.

He posted on instagram that he just made all the shipping labels and that they wouldn't be taken to the post office til Monday. So they should be moving any time now.

Exactly, it's a collection. People like to complete them with all the colors. That's like asking a coin collector why he/she would want more than one nickel, quarter, dime, etc...

Thanks for the input guys. I actually just did some digging and found out you can sign up for "Amazon Student" where you can give them a college e-mail and you get 6 months of Amazon Prime for free. In other words, one day shipping for $4. Yes please. Now, what preamp would someone recommend from Amazon that goes well with the Pro-ject debut carbon?

Got my pro-ject debut carbon in the mail today and now I need a decent preamp for it. This might be a long shot but I leave for a long vacation Tuesday and would really like to hear this nice new turntable before I leave. If anyone wants to make a deal that can hopefully ship it out TODAY via priority mail, that would be awesome.
