J&R music in manhattan was giving these out in giftbags if you bought any rsd stuff. couldnt really find any pressing info on them besides that theyre promos from when the album came out. anyway, thought it was kind of a cool surprise considering some of the other freebies out there.

Was at co-op 87 at midnight in brooklyn and grabbed the best coast 7” and then left. Place was a mad house. Got up early this morning and went over to J&R in manhattan and picked up: Their/theyre/there Hold steady 7” Misfits/lemonheads 7” Garbage/screaming females 10” They were also giving out gift bags and each one had a kanye/jay z ”Otis” 7” in them. Pretty awesome. Only things I missed out on that I wanted were the luther 7” and the title fight/ta split. Not a bad haul though, otherwise

going to go to J&R first then head over to Generation in the early afternoon

i'll be at Generation in manhattan in the morning. forgetters and Swearin' are doing sets there in the afternoon, should be pretty cool.

this is one of my favorite releases of the year so far. slows down a little towards the end, but the first 7 or 8 songs are great.

picked one up, can't wait for this. evan wrote that these are halfway gone already, just in case anyone was waiting to pick this up.

picked up the captain we're sinking, daylight, and turnover lps. can't wait to spin these.

I went into a store today and they gave me the discount. Wasn't advertised on any of the displays or window stickers that vinyl was excluded.

caught them the other night in nyc. they have black copies of the First Offense 7" with them.

picked up a splatter copy with the subscription code. pretty excited it was still around to use the discount on it.

anyone know if the band has this on tour with them? going to catch them in nyc friday and wanted to pick it up.

grabbed the coke bottle w/ pink splatter. and with the 10% code I picked up the slingshot dakota lp too. pretty sweet.

I got my 7" box on Wed. and my LPs came on Thurs.

got my 180gram black yesterday, with the eyeglass retainer. man, this thing looks and sounds great. well worth the wait.

got my shipping confirmation today, not expecting it til early next week considering it has to go across country, not to mention all the snow/rain.

picked up Andrew WK - 'I Get Wet' & the new Code Orange Kids at the store today with the BOGO50% offer. Pretty sweet deal. Got 15$ in hot cash too. Kind of glad its not valid til Jan so I can actually give my wallet a rest for a bit.

grabbed Green Day-Insomniac & Skiba/Sekrets-Babylon for 19$ shipped. pretty awesome.

broadway calls full length is a definite. going to wait on this for now, considering the 2012 ones were still available through sept this year, and that was at a cheaper price. probably will jump on it eventually though, maybe with my tax return or something.

Arrow's Aim had a bunch of these in the shop went I went in there on Monday, was able to snag one. They also had the Wilhelm Scream 7" and the new Chris Wollard lp. If any Gainesville locals or people near there are looking. Also, that shop is one of the best record stores i've been to in such a long time. Good selection of new stuff, cheap. And lots of used 7"s and lps. Really friendly people too! Definitely recommended.
