Just bought a house in Nashville, finally have everything in order.  My record shelf is a piece that my grandmother gave me that she used to store her VHS tapes in, so stoked on it with my collection inside. The Victrola in the corner isn't currently working (my Mom's best friend was going to throw it away).  So I turned it into a bar and will get it fixed when I get some extra cash.
 

 

 

I remember when this record came out my friend stole it from Target because we were broke college kids and at that time didn't care about being upstanding citizens.  Everyone kept talking up the album, so he figured it was a must have.  I remember him putting it in the cd player of his car in the parking lot and we just laughed when the first track started playing.  So shitty.  He wanted to take it back but couldn't because it was stolen.  Fast forward 13 years and now that dude from Friends is selling it on vinyl for $40.  Never thought I'd see the day.

There is already a standard black vinyl single LP version out there......good luck finding it for $15 though.

What is the point of $15 single LP black vinyl releases?  SO boring.  No colors.  No scarcity.  No release of adrenaline to the brain when the pre-order goes live and the #FOMO kicks in.

If ETR put this out as a single LP you can bet your ass it still would be upwards of $25-$30 before shipping.

What you all don't understand is that, the more you criticize ETR or this release, the more Stl Ben has to keep posting that he doesn't care and in fact benefits from it.

Those Edmiston's will sell out instantly.  There's 70 of them.  Even at a $150 price tag, they're probably gonna turn around to be flipped for $500+ based on the rarity.
 
I think Jason should charge even more for them.  Why should he sell something at a low price so that someone else can instantly buy it and re-sell it for a huge profit?  Even at $150 people will immediately be able to double or triple their investment.  This is his job, not a hobby.

If it will flip, the wolves will be out. Bots will instantly cart most of the prints and then after 10 minutes, prints will slowly start to get dropped out of a few carts that held onto them too long and you 'might' be able to luck into one that way. That goes for pretty much every single print drop in the history of the hobby though. Always prepare yourself for disappointment. Best of luck!
