  1. I'm 26 years old and I love cartoons. Adventure Time is one of them. Such a great show. I hope they do a Season 2 DVD soon.
  2. I feel the same way, I find myself doing that a lot. Had to do that to find out who 'Locke' is and that he serves basically the same purpose as Vargo Hoat in the books. And I kept wondering if the guy who set Theon free was Ramsay, I was pretty sure it was but I guess they are waiting to reveal more about him. Also can't wait to see more development on Bran Stark's storyline and what's going on north of the wall with Jon Snow. AND what's up with Dany trading a dragon? She must have something up her sleeve... I'm thinking the dragon will only be loyal to her and that asshole slave trader will get fucked over somehow.
  3. Yeah, speaking of the humour in last night's episode... the scene with the whores and Tyrion's squire... and then he returned the gold. That was funny, but also had me thinking 'huh? there's no way he pleasured those whores to such an extent that they refused payment' What was up with that? Trivial, I know, but it seemed so unnecessary to have it in there, unless it was just for some comedic relief but I'm hoping there's a bigger reason than that, since there is usually a reason behind everything. What with so much going on in the books they really have to make decisions on how to streamline the show. Maybe I shouldn't ask, could be spoiler-bait, but it's got me wondering! Oh yeah and the part with Hot Pie and the wolf-shaped bread hahaha, and how he calls Winterfell 'Winterhell' and when they correct him he says 'you sure?' hahhaa
  4. Yeah I get that a lot. Costs me almost as much to ship to the same province I'm in as it does for me to ship to anywhere in the USA, so I'm used to it. Plus anything I order from the states is just as expensive. Some people share an order with a friend and split the shipping. As a general rule 1-4 LPs is about $20 (with tracking.) 5-6 LPs is $25 (also includes tracking) so if you buy more at once it's only $5 per disc. Other than that shipping prices are outta my hands, sorry!
  5. I have 2 extra copies of the 1st and 2nd 7" in that series of 5 7"s glassjaw did... are you interested in trading for them? Mine are absolutely MINT. (All Good Junkies Go To Heaven and Jesus Glue are the ones I have) Would just be missing Natural Born Farmer out of the 5 total. *edit* nvm I see Stars sold
  6. Hey sorry yeah I was just doing shorthand to come and fill in later... the Panopticon is the clear/cokebottle w/ silver smoke /300 and the Oceanic is the Robotic Empire press on 'Brine' (swamp green/clear) /300 http://roboticempirenews.blogspot.ca/2011/01/new-releaseshirt-from-isis-repress-from.html On that page^ its the one in the bottom-right corner and somehow it manages to look even better in person. The black Oceanic is NOT from the most recent RE empire press, it's an older press, the level plane remaster.
  7. Whoa, don't know how but it totally slipped my mind that tonight is Sunday. New episode on HBO... gonna catch the replay at midnight. Loving this season so far... the sword-fight between Brienne and Jaime that capped off last week's ep. I must've watched 10 re-airings throughout the week and it never got old.
  8. Chicken wings, pizza, poutine... Not sure how this thread is trying too hard... inb4 sushi
  9. Yeah, I have the wolf parade s/t EP
  10. I wanna know what that pic disc w/ all the different little kitties on it actually sounds like... Can't help but this it's a novelty and better to look at than to listen to. Kitties are so great, would be a challenge to make music to live up to that greatness. Kayo Dot - The Kitty Song is the benchmark.

  13. *Just* saw a review for it on Reviews on the Run. Miri gave it a *strong* 9.5/10 and other dude gave it 10/10 ...dude also said it was a 'masterpiece' and that it left him feeling bummed out cause he doesn't think he'll see a better film for the rest of 2013
  14. Okay, BEST customer service ever... John LaMacchia of Candiria / Rising Pulse records. Here's why: I bought the Toying With the Insanities remix bundle a while back, comes w/ Vol. I on CD, Vols. II + III on vinyl, shirt, etc. The 2 vinyl records came w/ download codes, but by the time I punched them in they had expired, I forgot about it for the longest time, then I was going through by records and realized 'hey I'd like to have those' and even found the download codes... so I shot him an email asking him to re-up them... it was pretty bad timing though, cause Hurricane Sandy had just devastated Brooklyn, including his studio, The South Sound... So I waited a while and then emailed again and he was like 'yeah do you want .mp3 or .wav?' I was like 'fuck yeah, I want .wav' he basically says 'okay, fuck this computer shit I'll mail you a CD, send me your address' so I did, he's like 'oh you're in Canada, oh well I'll send it anyway' (I'm paraphrasing) So it kinda slipped my mind until today when I got this CD-R in the mail with all the tracks off Vol. II + III on it. $6.55 postage, what an awesome guy, now I feel like I should buy one of those new Candiria tees since I wanted one anyway, and as a way of saying 'thanks for being a solid dude.' In hindsight, it probably would've been smart to order it before he sent the CD-R and just gotten him to bundle them together and save on the shipping. He totally came through, awesome!
  15. I have a sealed Alaska for sale (I think it's clear vinyl) as well as a screenprinted Silent Circus.
  16. I used to have a profile. I think it got deleted when they re-did the site or something.
  17. I have The Bronx - Bats! 12" pic disc... think I'm gonna put it up for sale though.
  18. Yeah I have a buddy who is a singer he says if he smokes anything at all it cuts his vocal range in half for the next day, so he just can't do it. Thanks man, I just hope it's helpful, I know from experience that its tough so that's pretty much all the advice I can provide in 1 looong ass post. I'd say well worth the time it takes to read for anyone serious about quitting.
  19. Sunn O))) & Boris - Altar 3xLP Pic Disc
  20. Look, I get it, it's a fetish, whatever floats your boat. You like to ogle chicks with tattoos, nothing new there. I've seen it a thousand times, believe me, every time we would go out in public! But for those who are saying it's a generalization, it really isn't. The fact is, many (not all) of these (heavily modded) girls have issues with self-confidence/body-image/etc. and feed off of the attention they get when their tattoos are visible to others. I'm not against tattoos, I am tattooed, the difference is: some tattoos are easily concealed by normal clothing. Most people who don't know me don't even know I'm tattooed until they happen to see me in less than a t-shirt and shorts. I get them for myself, not as an excuse to wear next to nothing and parade around, vying for the attention of complete strangers. I have an ex who would buy an entire new wardrobe based around where their most recent tattoo is... new thigh tattoo? time to stock up on booty shorts... new chest-piece? low cut blouses that show lots of skin/cleavage... new sleeve/shoulder tattoo? tank tops... new back/neck tattoo? backless tops/hair tied up... I'm sorry, but it's pretty obvious that someone is desperate for attention when they have tattoos on their neck/hands, but not on the parts of their body that would usually be covered by the vast majority of clothing.
  21. 'Avant-black metal Bitches Brew' Get on it people, they're going into the studio really soon. The pre-orders are being put towards funding everything. $67 to ship 200g 3xLPs from USA to Europe sounds like par for the course to me, especially when you consider that you're pitching in on the album being made, in addition to buying the finished product, having it delivered to your doorstep. The standard edition to Canada cost me $57, shipping included ... only $10 more to go to Europe, that's peanuts, I don't understand how people expect international shipping to be any cheaper than it is, get used to it. The deluxe edition to Canada cost me $82, shipping included (yeah that's right, I bought both) likely the best purchases I'll make all year. Can't stress the importance of being an early adopter enough, it's basically a kickstarter, minus kickstarter/amazon taking their cut. If you value real art, shell out the cash, no excuses.
  22. Yep. Just noticed crime is Burly and you're Woodstock ...that ex-roommate of mine who dated the SG, we were all living in London, Ontario at the time.
