  1. Guacamelee! Just came out on PSN, it's $15 w/o PS Plus, few bucks cheaper w/ it... anyone else playing this? I just got it and so far it's awesome, I'd been keeping my ear to the ground for a while, stoked that I am finally getting to play it, highly recommended.
  2. Elliot Smith David Bazan Nine Inch Nails Seahaven And the deepest, darkest music ever: Kayo Dot
  3. Yeah, well, mine is grey-marble. I thought they just did the pocket-lint style marble thing and they all turned out as slightly different variations. Ha.
  4. I have 2 diff variants of No Salvation and 2 variants of True Quiet / Last Wave 7" for sale.
  5. The OG press is more grey-marble, than purple-marble, but they do look similar, for sure.
  6. There are no other planets. Just Flat Earth. Everything else is just an elaborate hoax.
  7. I would extend that sentiment to the entire board. As in 'Either the flat earth board is an elaborate troll or obviously not going to be convinced otherwise.'
  8. Pfft. Things like this give Hollow Earth a bad name. http://www.npiee.org/
  9. Awesome! PM me your PSN username if you want, and I'll add you. You have to shell out the extra $5 for the multiplayer add-on, if you haven't already.
  10. Yeah, the fact that the label paid to re-shoot a big budget version kinda proves my point that the label wanted Smooth Criminal to be the lead single and Movies to be the follow-up. We're really spitting hairs here, though. My point was that most people only know them from the cover, but they had good songs that went largely ignored by the mainstream populous and their label had no small part in that.
  11. Yeah that was the label's decision. The first single off the album was supposed to be 'Movies' IIRC, but the label wanted it to be 'Smooth Criminal' instead. Which sucks because that is basically what cemented their one-hit-wonder status. In terms of their early stuff they had some damn good songs. 'Movies' was one of them.
  12. I have the screenprinted version of Silent Circus (I think it's grey marble, rather than blue.) As well as a sealed Alaska (I believe the colour is Clear.) But they're both for sale, not really interested in trades. Trying to cut down. Walled-in.
  13. I've been playing through the entire Mass Effect Trilogy. It's awesome. I'm a little bit into the 3rd one now. Can't recommend the entire trilogy enough for anyone who likes RPGs/Sci-Fi I just downloaded the online multiplayer add-on for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game ... I wish they hadn't waited so long to put it out, there is never anyone in the lobby. I have 1 friend who also has the game but I dunno if he's gonna shell out the extra $5 for it. I wish more people would get the add-on but the game came out a while ago... I dunno, maybe it's just me, maybe it's because I go on at 3 AM and the rest of the western hemisphere is sleeping.
  14. I know a few people who have done it. I think they spend more time 'networking' than anything else. They definitely aren't spending any time practicing, that's for sure. They just keep chipping away at the social networking thing and constantly plugging their 'band' (I use that term very loosely). 7 years later they have ~300 fb 'likes' which is not bad, all things considered. You should hear the shit.
  15. I have Today's Empires, but it's sealed so I don't know what colour it is. Oh, and I have Failed States on orange, as well.
  16. I have a bunch of sealed albums I would be willing to sell... It's all their earlier stuff, I think I have everything up until From Here to Infirmary
  17. This thread is so full of win.
  18. It's not only make a record, but also to manufacture physical media and ship. That being said, yeah $50,000 does seem steep. I have contributed to very similar projects before... they were seeking money to record, manufacture and ship. They asked for $6000, raised $7000, made the record and ended up losing money after shipping all the stuff out, I believe in large part to international shipping costs. At least they made an incredible work of art and came through on the rewards.
  19. Dude I am 100% positive that they announced a remaster of This Is Meant to Hurt You was in the pipeline. Unless it got canned... fact is it was in the works, of that I am 100% certain... and if you still doubt that... You can see it straight from the band themselves. Dated July 6th 2012. Look: https://twitter.com/taasband/status/221369690293932033
  20. I have a NM grey... don't know that I'd sell it unless the offer was right as this album is really nostalgic for me, and it took me a while to track a copy down. Now that it's being repressed I'm almost certainly keeping it unless some die hard is hunting variants.
  21. They've had a vinyl remaster in the works for that TAAS album for a while now. Haven't heard any updates, but it is in the pipeline.
  22. Chyeah, the cross-outs and potential to skim over the date should definitely keep the PM's coming in.
