it took me 5 weeks to get i caspian record from there (it was not a pre order), I contacted them and they said they were swamped because of the pelican 7" pre order.... Well mylene I ordered mine well before the shipping date on the pelican pre order.
 
Overall, this has been my own experience with them they are slow, they overcharge for the shipping ($4.60 for a single LP WTF?) then the funniest part is the shipping label says $2.73, and there is more but....
 
**two people run the sheath, and they sell out almost every single thing they put out, AND they over charge for shipping, I'd think that MAYBE with all that money they hire some people to make things I little smoother over there.

C'mon, it's not even pressed probably, be patient. How do you imagine that, someone sells you something that s/he doesn't even touched? You won't have it by the day of release anyway. I'd recommend you to stay calm

Donated. They should make a 7" with Caspian and charge a premium, I'd bite.
Maybe even a 10" with a few close bands, get Mylene to do it.

What makes something 1st press? If the black vinyl wasn't available until both the solid color and splatter vinyl weren't being sold any more, according to this logic that would be the 3rd pressing right?
I always assumed anything sold prior to it's actual release date would be considered the first pressing. The Carcass Surgical Steel thread from awhile back on here had me totally confused. On that it shows 13 different colors ranging between 1st to 3rd pressing while still in the pre-order stage.
I just think it's odd that if an album is re-pressed two years after it's initial release, that would be considered a 3rd, 4th or whatever pressing instead of its 2nd.

He raised over $58,000 for this and the people that donated get a record? I hadn't heard about Kickstarter being used for bands prior to this thread but that seriously seems like a lot of money to record an album. A breakdown of what the money was spent on would probably be pretty interesting.
