My first transaction with him actually went really smoothly so I went ahead and put an order in for more jackets. I think about $100 worth. I sent him the money via paypal but for good and services versus a gift. I thought I was covering myself but then too much time had passed. He had been responding here and there saying he was busy with work so I gave him the benefit of the doubt but then he dropped off completely and stop responding all together. When I decided I would open a Paypal claim it had been 50 days since I submitted payment. Paypal covers you up to 45 days, if you don't open a claim on the 45th day then after that you're on your own. They did however give me his personal phone number. So I called him everyday for about 4 days straight and left him voicemails. He eventually texted me back saying something along the lines of "Sorry I forgot" Anyway I was able to get my money back from him in 2 installments over the course of a week. I hope you all have the same luck in recovering your $.

I've always been "ok" with them but the last one is the only one I really listen to, and I don't think I like the songs as much on this one. Ah well.

It'll be a bit inconvenient for you cos the QMU venue is in the west end, not in town but it's easy enough to get the subway into town - or just drive the tour bus over   
 
Best place in Glasgow is Mono, which is an independently owned cafe/bar/venue/record shop and pretty awesome.

I just mean that there have to be better songs. Stay Happy There is a lot more constant in sound than most of their songs. I'm just glad it (the single) sounds similar to Somewhere at the Bottom.

I wish they would pick better songs to release as singles. For instance, Harder Harmonies for Wildlife? Not even top 5 on that record. There are WAY better songs on Rooms of the House, not that I don't love Stay Happy There. Oh well...

I think though that sometimes bands can have what's called a double contract cos I was speaking to some guy who knows some band at some festival and he said you can have contracts that say stuff like that and shit so it's not entirely impossible that No Sleeping will do the vinyl. No Sleeps do good vinyl so it makes sense that they do a The Dispute vinyl no matter what other label Las Disputes is with and stuff.

Snagged one. Haven't heard of a lot of the artists but happy to help a good cause. I hope the end donation amount is transparent to relieve any questions about this release and the extra dollars from the $4500 of shipping cost that may get donated in the end.

Because no one appears to read anything I will say this again. 
 
THIS IS A COMPILATION FOR CHARITY, after the cost of shipping and pressing are taken out of the equation 100% of the money is being donated.
 
If there is a discrepancy of a dollar or two in the actual cost of shipping and what was charged it is also being donated. Would it really have mattered if this was sold for $49 shipped as opposed to $40 plus shipping? You are getting a beautiful record with 37 songs and helping a good cause. No on this end is taking a penny.. 
 
If you don't want to pay for shipping and you really just want the songs hold off and you can buy the digital when it goes up, or be a jerk and download it for free.

We are still working out the details but we are figuring somewhere between $30 & $40 for the 3xlp set. 
 
We are planning to make 500 total copies with 400 being on one color and then 100 on a deluxe "friends press" variant which we will be giving to the artists involved & likely sell a few on ebay with proceeds also going to cancer research.  We also hope to have some record release show sometime next year but still in the process of working out all those details, more info coming soon as things progress.   Thanks to everyone for the continual support, this is going to be a really special release for a good cause!
