  1. Do people actually pay anything near that much for that Earthsuit CD? I have a friend who is a big fan of them who might have it.
  2. Ordered this plus the new Waxahatchee album. I was planning to get American Weekend as well, but I was bummed to discover the LP had sold out since I last looked. Hopefully Wheel comes on a cool green color to match the artwork.
  3. He's the drummer, I believe. Edit: Maybe the guitarist. I have no idea. He's in the band though.
  4. I can't believe the Tower and the Fool has flown under the radar as long as they have. How Long is probably my favorite album that RFC has ever released (except for maybe Keep This To Yourself). I wish they would tour more/anywhere outside of the east coast.
  5. I won a Joie de Vivre Facebook contest last year, and the records that I won got lost in the mail, so I drove up to Rockford a few months later, and they gave me replacements, plus a test press of We're All Better Than This. Coolest dudes, best band.
  6. "Future pressings will be available in the future." Great wording.
  7. I knew there was something I liked a lot more about that version, but I had never listened to them back to back to pinpoint it, but this is definitely the reason.
  8. Those cut out Intruder sets look awesome. I'm pretty sure they didn't have those when I saw them couple weeks ago. Also, they had colored vinyl at that point, but it was five dollars extra, so I just got black. See this band if you get the chance. Their live show is all kinds of fun.
  9. I thought it was referring to how baseball has changed since/because of the steroid era, but I don't know. I like the name.
  10. Not a big deal, really. It was three bucks or so, and they deserve it. Plus, now I can feel a little better about the 2012 sub downloads I grabbed when they were mistakenly available. Also, you posting this reminded me that I still needed to grab the I Call Fives/Rust Belt Lights split to complete my IC5 collection, so I did that and picked up the Tower and the Fool 7" and Stay Home as well. Thanks for putting out/selling cool stuff!
  11. Surprised they're doing a new one so soon, but I won't complain. Even On the Worst Nights was really good.
  12. The same thing happened to me, but I bought mine when they had the free banner with $75 purchase promotion going, so I figured the extra few bucks was for shipping the banner. But I might be wrong.
  13. That bundle is seriously tempting. I listened to the new record and The Inevitable and I for the first time today, and I really enjoyed both.
  14. This is exactly how my parents' CDs are organized. I alphabetized them once, and they hated it.
  15. I'm curious how most people sort and organize their collections. Mine is currently alphabetical by then alphabetical by album, but I might switch to alphabetical by artist and chronological by album. How is yours sorted? Chronological? Rob Gordon/Fleming style? Not sorted at all? Also, for people who use the alphabetical method: Where do you file split releases? Some of mine are with the artist I like more or have a bigger collection of, and others are just filed under the artist on the A side.
  16. Where at? I love that band and I know a couple of the guys. I knew right when they released it that Everyone That Dragged You Here would sell so well for whatever label got it pressed.
  17. Or "The (Shipped) Gold Standard." Either of those songs could have fit on any other FOB album besides TTTYG.
  18. I hope the new song is the "Thnks Fr th Mmrs" of this record. Outside of that song, Infinity On High was a darn good album, and if the rest of this one has anything as good as "Hum Hallelujah" or "Thriller," I'll be satisfied.
  19. Cool, so I guess I have the first, first version. And I'm definitely hoping a repress of Endserenading happens, since I'd rather buy from the label if possible, and I don't really want to spend Ebay prices on it anyway.
  20. This is album is really, really good. Don't write it off if you didn't like the single.
  21. So did I, but I didn't feel like I could justify grabbing the ones I was only vaguely interested in. The stuff I did download I plan on purchasing at some future time when I have a little more money to spend on records.
  22. I'm guessing those are there for the same reason that those with the 2012 sub are seeing the 2013 releases. I feel bad, but I downloaded a couple of the ones I don't have.
