That's rad and seems like a lot of fun. It would be cool if you all met up and compared how everyone's turned out afterward too. I was hoping to do a stout for winter this year, but I think I'm too late now.

I think episode three was the worst of the season, but I could not give a shit about Brody. The only thing him or his family is good for is eating up screen time. If you ask me, they're irrelevant to the plot. I would say it gets better, but only because the season started off so badly. Overall though, I still think this season is the worst one and it just kind of seems boring to me.

I just watched Frances Ha and I liked it a whole lot. It was fun and I could identify with a lot of it. Greta Gerwig was really good in it.

Ah bummer! If I'm not pressed for time, I like grocery shopping. Pop my headphones in, put on something ambient or relaxing and just wander the store. My ex-girlfriend used to get mad at me because it would take me forever to pick up anything.- 169,220 replies

Grocery delivery an option? I've used Amazon Fresh a handful of times and it's pretty rad. It's only Seattle/LA right now, but I know some other grocery store chains deliver too. Perfect for when you're too busy or lazy to go to the store.- 169,220 replies

I guess they could always sign the disc label if you're really set on having the actual LP signed. But overall, I say stick with the jacket or pretty much anything that isn't the record.

Oldies.com HUGE clearance
radiatorhums replied to isavedlatin54's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Finally got around to ordering some things. Mostly stuff I want in my collection, but didn't want to pay full price for. Rad if it all ships, oh well if it doesn't. I am a little mad at myself for missing out on Waking Season for ~10$ though. -

Alkaline Trio / NFG / H2O

Last time I saw them, Skiba was really drunk and kept rambling between songs. Dan and Derek seemed really annoyed. It was entertaining for a little while, but got old pretty quickly. The other couple times I've seen them, they were much more on point. -
Glad to see Everything Sucks is getting repressed, I've been casually trying to get a copy and this will save me some trouble.

If I don't have a lot to do at work, I'll watch a movie or two a week while I'm there. I'd be much farther behind on my movie watching if it weren't for that luxury.- 169,220 replies

I just got caught up on Misfits. The first season has been sitting on my computer for a few years now and I kept putting it off for some reason. Started it about a week ago and I've been marathon watching since.

^ I let my dog follow me around my apartment, but that's the one time where I put a stop to it. I can watch him poop, he can't watch me poop. -

I think I've been averaging about one a year for about ten years now. I get really antsy sitting in one place for too long and I prefer the comfort of watching them at home in general.- 169,220 replies

I think I will sometime soon. When my old one died, I didn't really want to spend the money just to finish playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I'm going to start looking into snagging a used one. I have my old 360 hard drive, so I just need to find a working console that I can use that with.- 169,220 replies

My 360 red ringed immediately after installing the Fallout 3 expansions, never got a chance to finish it and it irks me to this day.- 169,220 replies

Best/Worst Customer Service from a Distro/Label?
radiatorhums replied to silentgods's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Had one of my Joyful Noise subscription flexi discs not show up for some reason. They were great to deal with and my replacement showed up in about a week. Label is aces all around. -
I'm hoping so as well. I'm in no rush, so I don't mind waiting to see if the price will plummet over time.

heading to Manhattan... Best 1-2 record shops?
radiatorhums replied to mrc's topic in Everything Else Message Board
I spent a ton of money at the Academy Records in Brooklyn while I was there. If I recall, the majority of their stuff was used and the selection was pretty incredible. It was super easy to get to from Manhattan via the subway. -
Depending upon how it's done, I'd be interested in the box set. Would be easier than picking up things individually. It's too bad the band is done, but Blake sorting out his life is more important. Would have liked a chance to see them though.
