  1. I bounce between which album I like the best. This one is probably my favorite, but it seems to rotate after that. Overall, I've liked everything they've released.
  2. I feel the exact same way. There is enough to occupy my money until the end of the year without these. I don't feel as anxious to have them either, since I've been able to spend plenty of time with one and two.
  3. Where these put on sale when the Cave In tape was? I didn't even think to look and it would have been nice to save on shipping. I'm still mad at myself for not picking up a copy of this when it originally was released, I guess it's time to remedy that.
  4. I think the Cinderella one was the best of the spin-offs, keeping it short and sweet worked in it's favor. I haven't read Peter & Max, but I probably should. I read a lot anyway and I do like the Fables world.
  5. Why is it that when Carol starts not sucking, they get rid of her? I doubt this will be the last we'll see of her, but still.
  6. Lifehacker seems to have a lot of good articles about building a resume, but I don't recall if they had any specific links to templates. Depending upon what kind of position your applying for, I'd suggest not using a template. It's hard making a resume standout a lot of the time and using a template seems like it would make it blend in even more. The last time I worked on my resume, I think I worked on it a little bit every night over the course of a week or two. Breaking it up seemed a lot better than sitting at it for four or five hours. I'd recommend reading some articles about what makes a good resume and spending some time with some example resumes. If you have any friends who work in HR, have them take a look too.
  7. I wish I liked Fairest more, but it hasn't done much for me. The Maharajah story arc especially wore on me, it didn't help that the font they used was hard to read. Jack of Fables was fun for a little while, but overall the spin-offs haven't blown me away like Fables did initially.
  8. I think it's fun. People worry too much about the color of their records.
  9. I'll make sure to add you back, my friends are very bad at updating as well. I started those for the first time earlier this year. I'm through the Goblet of Fire. I have a bad habit of binge reading series and by the end I'm usually wore out, so I'm trying to space these out a little more. I had a feeling I'd like them going in and so far, I've enjoyed them a lot. I think I'll jump into the next book soon, I think it's been long enough.
  10. I signed up for it a few years ago, same username there as here. I was hoping the recommendations would work a little better, but oh well. It does a good job keeping track of what I'm reading and want to read. I don't know if I'm going to hit my goal of reading 52 books this year, but I'm pretty damn close. I just finished Pyramids. The 7th book in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. It was fun like the other ones I've read. I'd recommend his work to anyone who digs Neil Gaiman (and the novel they did together is excellent as well).
  11. Didn't think this justified a new thread, but it's great news none the less! I'm guessing the first EP did pretty well, so hopefully this one will see a physical release too. http://propertyofzack.com/post/66123244775/puig-destroyer-announce-wait-for-spring-ep
  12. I don't think it's as bad as it's hyped up to be. Perhaps a well done reading of it could cause someone to faint, but I don't think it has such a strong impact when reading it. Also, according to the Wikipedia article, people are instructed to hold their breath while he does the reading. It's more likely people pass out due to that than the actual content. Anyway, Guts could be skipped and I don't think it would detract from Haunted too much. If I recall correctly, there were quite a few better stories in the book.
  13. I started it, but something came up at work and I forgot to finish it. I'm going to go through it tonight. I'm ok that it's coming to an end. The book was so strong originally, but after The Empire story wrapped up I feel like it hasn't been nearly as engaging. The Mr. Black arc wasn't bad, but I think the book is past it's expiration date now.
  14. The real question is do you still know these ladies phone numbers?
  15. If you make an appointment with the folks at the Apple store you can be in and out really quickly too, my ex-girlfriend has issues with her phone a few times and I think it took under 20 minutes each time.
  16. Interpunk has the EPs for preorder at $13.00 each, which is a little cheaper than Amazon. They have all February 14th for the release date. If they're information is correct, one is on pink/red, two is on blue and three is on yellow.
  17. That sums up how I think I'll be feeling tomorrow. I don't think I'm going to hate going as much as I used to. I'm slightly excited, but that may wear off once I actually get there. I know the first visit will probably be the worst and longest and it should be smoother sailing from then on out. Supposedly the dentist I'm going to gives you cookies afterwards!
  18. Ordered! Thanks for the heads up on that. Also snagged the Shapeshifter / Dead Already cassette single (which I really should have picked up when it was dirt cheap on RTK, oh well).
  19. I finally got a job with insurance (like an adult!) and I'm going to the dentist for the first time in quite a while. I have a feeling it's going to take forever. On the plus side, I'll be out of the house in the morning (which rarely happens), so I'm going to try and make the most of it afterwards.
  20. The dates they'll be in the Northwest are really close to Sasquatch. I'm guessing they're playing it this year and that's why a Seattle date isn't there. If work permits, I'll probably take the train down to Portland for the show, make a weekend out of it or something.
  21. That's such a great bill. I've seen all three of them live and none of them disappointed. Kvelertak might have been my favorite of the three though.
