This is amazing. What #vibe do you have to select to get five Engelbert Humperdinck records?

I like the album a lot, but some of you guys are being way too kind to Local Business and this whole "you should pay closer attention to it," and "you only didn't like it because it wasn't the Monitor II" nonsense reeks of condescension.

I've received Airheads with orders from both Tiny Engines and Polyvinyl. However, only Polyvinyl gave a full size, so I can see why Beach Slang made the switch.

I just listened to one side before heading out again, no issues with my copy. Sounds great.

This isn't a cheerleading site, people can express negative opinions. The idea that everyone has to carry water for bullshit releases is plain dumb.

For those from outside the area who might not know, Newbury was one of the only places in Mass./New England trying to keep vinyl alive before it got trendy again. Even when vinyl sales were next to nil, they always stocked new releases -- especially from local punk/HC bands -- and kept a vinyl section in pretty much all of their locations. As I'm sure a lot of other people from the area could attest, in the pre-MP3 era, Newbury was essential to my musical upbringing. Yeah, they're not the same little punk rock company that started 35 years ago, but so what? All businesses have to adapt. If flogging some overpriced records to people silly enough to buy them helps keep the doors open, like someone else said, more power to them.

I think Corin is the stronger vocalist, but Carrie is the better guitarist. You need both of them (Janet too)! I'm not exactly a Portlandia superfan, but I don't know what has to do with S-K. She's found success doing something she enjoys and still has time to make awesome music (Bury Our Friends is proof of that).
