Ran into this article today... Hope it's true! I anticipate this will be a very big seller. It is an album of covers. In it, as anticipated, he pays tribute to other renowned singer-songwriters. There are 12 tracks on it. There are no Neil Young originals, but...each side starts with an introduction (part 1, part 2) of the same title. That could be a Neil Young original although I have another theory on what these might be... A couple of the songs chosen will astonish you. Sorry for the secrecy but more on this might leak soon... Ralf speculates: I guess the regular Album will be released by Warner/Reprise but Jack Whites "Third Man" label will release exclusive a special edition of twelve 6" vinyl 111 seconds copies which were cut directly in the booth. I'm sure a few of these are hard to find and worth a re-issue to fans... IMO the only Kiss albums really worth a damn, are all available for $1-$5 dollar bins in every record shop in the world. I wish companies would really start getting to 90's and early 2k releases. So many albums I would love the opportunity to buy that don't cost me 100-500 dollars.

Yeah I agree 100%. Truth be told, it's a fantastic greatest hits, and they sound fantastic. I'm usually an album person... But everyone one of their singles is solid to great. Would have made sense to squeeze everything on to 2 LPs. If they do, i'll dump the box set on ebay and buy the LPs.

Did anyone else who ordered this receive the box set that wasn't completely dented in on one of the sides. The shipping box was mint condition, but the box set looks like someone dropped it and dented it in. I checked twitter and a few other sites and people are saying theirs is dented pretty bad on the corners too. Usually I don't complain too much about dented corners, etc. But this was pretty noticeable, and for $90+ (Including shipping and tax) I would expect a pretty nicely package that looks fairly mint condition. So I emailed the company, and they said that there are no more of the Vinyl box sets, and they can refund my money. I replied back and said Ok, they then refunded my money within an hour, and sent me another email saying they have received my return package and my ticket was closed. I do have to say, the records themselves sound fantastic. btw. the ebay prices for this thing are getting silly. 250 bucks for this thing? Jesus...

Just got the Speed Box S today, and hooked up to a NA Debut Carbon. Works great so far! I thought at first it was crazy to spend 100+ dollars on this thing, but with all the 45RPM LPs now a-days, it's totally worth it.

Last year I ordered the white stripes bundle on Black Friday. I think it had 4 or 5 LPs in the lot. They kept pushing back the ship date until it was March. I was emailing them every month or so... They kept saying it would ship 'this week.' Finally, I got an email that said my CC was declined. Which, makes zero sense, no way it would have been declined. I think they just made up something and canceled my order. I have read on other message boards that a lot of time, they accept online orders, and then place orders with the supplier, and sometimes there just isn't enough to fill all orders. I know this company is owned by a label (sony?) so they should be legit. Has anyone on here ever had any luck with ordering from them?

IMO, I think it sounds really really good. I wish it came in a gatefold instead of 2LPs in one sleeve. But overall it's worth the money.

I picked it up from RPM (Records Per Minute) on High St. The yellow lightning bolt is the sleeve but flipped around backwards. The matte finish on the album cover is the same on both copies I have. However, the sleeve that houses the LP itself is made of a different material. The 10Club one has the same matte finish the cover has. However, the one I got from RPM, is a paper type sleeve. Both have identical designs, same white LB on the front, and yellow LB on the back of the sleeve. It's just odd you can totally tell the difference in packaging.

I got this email on Friday for my 10 club one: We have received your E-Mail and apologize for the inconvenience. A replacement vinyl will be sent to you early next week. Thank you for your patience. UMG Customer Service. I'm not sure if this means a new jacket, book, stickers, and LP? Or if this just the LP itself... My jacket isn't ripped or anything, but theres a lot of smudges all over it... I guess it isn't a huge problem. But still annoying. Luckily a shop by me in Columbus OH got 8 copies and picked one up there. Mint condition and sounds great! Strange thing about the retail ones. They are slightly different, the inside sleeve is a paper sleeve, doesn't have cool matte finish the 10 club one has.

I think not making 7 inch singles is really a missed opportunity. I know when I go to the record store, I would totally look through and pick up a few $5 or $6 singles... It's a way to get people to buy something that they normally wouldn't buy. A few record labels do often times have some good ones they release, but it's few and far between. Maybe record companies are just scared that if people buy a 7 or 12 inch single, they might not buy the LP when it comes out for 20-30 bucks.

I agree. You can still find Gish, SD, PI, and MCIS in any format you want for cheeper than the original release price.

Yes, I got mine a few days ago. However, when the Mother Love Bone (purple vinyl) was pre-ordered, I didn't get my shipping notice until like 3 or 4 days after everyone else.... and I know I had to have been one of the first to pre-order... So who knows what their process is. i wouldn't worry about it, you'll get the notice soon.

$80 in a few years? If someone is even remotely thinking they want this, they should bite the bullet and buy it... This is easily a few hundred dollar vinyl in a couple years.

In Columbus, the one shop I went to had 4 or 5, I was 8th in line, so I was lucky enough to grab it. It sounds really awesome. Both LPs come in plastic/poly sleeves. No booklet or anything. Nice quality LPs. Also, there is a # posted on the back of each one, mine is 2140, however it doesn't give a number showing how many there are. The original sell sheet said 3,000 copies for this. However, on Facebook, someone from the Ten Club Message Boards asked the manufacturer and they said that there will be 5,000 printed.

Yeah that album sounds really good. There was a YouTube review where someone had the original TenClub version and the MoV version. The packaging was better on the MoV, the book was larger, and was of better quality. Also the guy claimed it also sounded better than the original. Just got the AIC and Nirvana Unplugged albums, and they both sound amazing. Kind of expensive, but worth it; if it's something you really want.

It's working, I just ordered a couple hours ago (3rd times a charm). Got a tracking number just now.
