Yeah it sucks that he isn’t taking Paypal.
I bet it sucks even more that you can’t buy it and flip it like you’re flipping the F-Zero release for $125 on Discogs.

Looks like you can preorder the No Man's Sky 2LP from Amazon for $12: https://www.amazon.com/No-Mans-Sky-Infinite-Universe/dp/B01ISVRN2A/
Guessing it's a pricing error and will be fixed soon, but Amazon usually honors these (unless you buy more than one).
EDIT: Looks like it's back at $35 now.

Great list, and plenty I haven't heard of, ie lots to check out.
Nice to see Hazards and Meniscus make the list, and i wish i knew what that old guy is mumbling in Soot

Surprised that Meanwhile, Back In Communist Russia didn't make it? I love Emily Gray's smoky soliloquies with her British accent.

Pnumekin tracked her career to find out that she was hired to some more recent work on his recommendation a few pages back: http://oldflamerecords.bigcartel.com/artist/distant-correspondent  I don't know why I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Only $10.

    I can do that.

I can definitely do that. I shit you not, I did it once. Back when I had about 30. It's more than than doubled.

    I'll make a calendar, too.

I freaked out in just about ever forum possible.

So, the deal with the Translucent Maroon copy of Tertia is that it is incredibly rare. The run size is /150 but we (the post rock community) swears there's only ten (cause that's all that are accounted for). We all swear that the rest fell into some black hole in Europe, cause it was an exclusive to Europe back when it was first pressed in 2009. I've been after this thing for four years. I have never even seen it sold, ever. One of my friends on here (Don) saw it sell for $200 once, but I believe it was a private sale, and that was to a dude COMPLETE his Mylene Sheath collection. So this thing is my holy grail white whale. I honestly never thought I would get it. It'sa huge accomplishment for me. Finding that actually completes my Caspian collection. 4 years, countless hours, way too much money (but could have spent more - got a lot of great deals from friends on here), 68 records, lots of great stories, and I've finished it. I'm done.... until they repress stuff, and release new material. Haha.

Eh, same. The first edition is a gold/white whale I look for, so it would be a nice compensation. It's the ONLY album I have multiple copies of, love it so, so much.

And the game is a gem too, give it a try if you're into point-and-click, people.

Finally found my #1 white whale today. Joe Hisaishi - "My Neighbor Totoro". This was the first Studio Ghibli movie I had seen and next to Spirited Away, my favorite of their soundtracks. The full score and songs were only pressed once in 1988 and has since been very difficult to find in Japan and ESPECIALLY the U.S., I got very lucky and was able to snatch this up when it popped up on discogs.

I'm sure this doesn't apply to all cases but whenever I see VG++ as a grade I just imagine the obfuscating buffer of self-interest, bias, and desperation that keeps sellers from using a normal grading scale.  Sometimes it's followed by bizarre cognitive dissonance like the description above but sometimes it just sits there, on its own, daring you to ignore your instincts and proceed with the transaction at your own risk.

    From spacelab email

On May 25th, SPACELAB9 will present the first of two releases in a new video game soundtrack series. Beginning first with an LP for Capcom's legendary MEGA MAN, the album contains a collection of the most memorable moments and awesome boss themes from the game's 1987 debut up through 2010's Mega Man 10. The second tops IGN's list of the best RPGs of all time (any guesses?). Both albums will initially be released on picture disc format and available exclusively at Hot Topic. Non-picture disc fans stay tuned for more exciting news about these game titles and many others on the way...

    Here's ebay craziness for you.
About 7 years ago I bought that damn Jason Mraz album at my local record store, on the strength of that "I'm Yours" single. I couldn't have paid more than $12 for it. I'm not really sure what I was expecting because, quite predictably, I hated it. I listened to it once, maaaaybe twice, and put it on the shelf never to touch it again. I figured I couldn't pay anyone to take that thing off my hands, and it would just serve as a reminder of simpler times.
I come to find out the other day that the album is being repressed due to high demand.... reealllly?
So I throw it on the bay... Less than 4 minutes in, there are multiple watchers, and I get a message with an offer for $200 if I end the listing.
    REALLLLLLLLYYY?
    Jason fucking Mraz.
secondhand deja owners are immediately absolved of all shame after this.
