  6. Sincerely, Future Pollution is the follow up to Hot Dreams from Timber Timbre. thought i'd post just in case someone digs this unique group and missed the news on this one. I am really enjoying this album, slightly different from their older stuff, quite synth heavy, still those classic dark tones though. Some very danceable, catchy moments peppered with weird and wonderful experimentation. Video NSFW vinyl comes in standard black and limited clear pressing
  7. i thought this was a rumoured tracklist posted by some random?
  8. "Hugely grateful to Sub Pop and honored to have been on that label, but in the years between Helplessness Blues and beginning work on Crack-Up, most all of the people we worked directly with there had moved on to other labels or had started their own companies in the music business. Which makes sense—it’s been a really long time! When we were thinking about how we would release the album, we knew we wanted to try something new, either by self-releasing or by finding a new label, and of the constellation of labels out there, Nonesuch just had the most copacetic energy and history, and it felt like the album would fit there. Their ethos seems expansive and inclusive—they appreciate all kinds of music and aren’t built on a rejectionist ethos but instead a kind of utopian one, one that can logically accommodate both John Zorn and the Black Keys. That is really appealing to me as a music fan and as an artist." http://pitchfork.com/thepitch/1461-robin-pecknold-talks-new-fleet-foxes-album-and-going-back-to-school/?mbid=homepage-more-latest-and-video

  10. Can confirm, the three times i had it on while i walked to work it did nothing for me. Sat down on the couch in the dark last night after a few beers, chucked the headphones on, was way better. It is not going to please the same way Honeybear did
  11. They have been significantly reworked though, which should set it apart as more than just a live album. Horns Surrounding Me is completely different from the original

  13. Just preordered the coloured wax from norman records, good option if you want to save a bit off that bundle. The two tracks have really grown on me, and on headphones they sound phenomenal - no doubt because Spacebomb Studio is behind the orchestration of it all.
