yep same....have about 11 different pressings of RTL.....some sound better than others....some are purely for collecting purposes but all have been/do get spun

I cant see him giving up the older silver faced Rotel. Although he only uses it for radio. Ill grab the above mentioned one and give it a crack in the next couple of weeks. when servicing an Amp, I take it all that needs to be done is an internal check, Making sure all components are in working order/not damaged and a good clean, possibly a can of compressed air and a scrub where I can? Out of memory the Rotel is much heavier than the Technics so thats a good sign.

Was The Amity Affliction - Youngbloods Red Press - Currently on the way to me...pretty wrapped about that. Probably going to try and track down Metallica - Fade to Black - 1984 - 12" Single on Glow in the dark Green wax......just going to have to be patient and get it at a decent price.......dont want to be paying $500 for it. Also something I just cant seem to nail down and isnt that pricey at all is AOF - Boiled Frogs 7" .....in no way id it as awesome as some of the other White Whales in this thread but i just never get lucky with it

The Technics as far as I can tell is a late 80s Early 90s model....pretty solid.....in built Phono stage that seems to be doing the job. He has a much older Silver faced Rotel thats an absolute tank that I was going to try and snag, Might grab this one and give it a good clean first and see what kind of sound it produces. Details to come I suppose

Anybody have any experience with using this type of Rotel. My father has a spare and im wondering whether its worth cleaning up and giving it a shot compared to a Late 80's Early 90's Technics Amp that im currently using. Im not really good with picking out "vintage" if it even is that ( and apon further inspection it seems to be early 90's as well) But given Early model Rotel Amps seem to have a somewhat better name than Cheaper made Technics i thought it would be worth asking. Currently running a Project Debut with a 2M Red and some Wharfedales.....Would prefer to run a Rotel and have some fun with cleaning it then upgrading to a Marantz that seems to be the stock set up. Any help would be valuable. Cheers

Trying to find someone that will be able to pick up 3 copies of Enema for some folks in Australia. Usually the shipping is $54 (or has been for 2 for the last 2 releases) Have had another mate pick them up from ebay and told him i might be able to pick them up cheaper. I think for 3 2Lps it was $75ish from Hot Topic. Would anyone know the estimate to ship from US to Aus - 3 EOTS presses? and would anyone be willing to help some Aussies out with a shipment?

Been having a green a day since start of Feb.....got it pretty good now I use..... big handful of spinach whole Banana half a Green Apple Smidge of Ginger Couple of mixed Berrys Pinch of Goggi Berries tea spoon of Macca Powder 2 tea spoons of chia seeds 1 Pitted Date sometimes add cucumber celery and almonds when available/feel like it Been feeling pretty....pretty....pretty.....pretty good
