So preorder in October with the release date in summer 2023?
Hope they don't screw up the artwork like they did with the latest Leitmotif repress.
Might have to look at selling my OG copy while the prices are still crazy.

Glad to hear this an improvement over the MOV press, which I've always found to be a bit lacking.
Side question - how do you like that record brush attached to your table? I have one but never set it up. Felt like too much work. Does it do a good job?

I sold mine a year or so ago. These can’t come soon enough!
What did you get for it?

Sounds like it's time to sell my SRC copies of YPAA!

Saw these guys open for Angel Du$t last month and really dug it, live they came off a lot like Helmet IMO, although the recorded stuff I've heard sounds more like nu-Silverchair. I was a bit pissed when I got home after the show, where I thought I had bought an LP only to find I spend $20 on a single sided 12" with three songs though.
*listening to System (Failing) right now and it totally has Helmet vibes on everything but the vocals.
If I didn't already love this band, the term nu-Silverchair definitely would've made me check them out!

The jacket is definitely a step down from the previous pressing. A little flimsier, weird spine, more pixelated.
Vinyl color is nice. Was filthy, so make sure you give it a really good clean.
Sounds the same as my original black pressing, which I would say is slightly better than the CD.
Overall, a pretty mediocre release.

Great! Guessing I should start to be worried then. Went from delivery date unknown to “order received”. Can’t say I’ve seen that one before.
That's what mine did as well. I ordered the first day it went up. Had a date, then unknown, then received, and now shipped! Good luck.

Stoked. I kind of hope this is more of a return to the records before the last two but I have a feeling based on the description it will be more of the same.
I hope this is her nu metal album.

Just listened to this and Rotting Pinota today for the first time in years. Both albums, pretty much, suck.
6 decent songs between both records. Some things do not hold up 26-28 years later.
Cool opinion. I still think both albums are great, but I'm sure there is something you like that I think sucks.

Very excited about this.
"we’ve carefully restored and formatted the original artwork"
Hope the same applies to the audio.
Based on some of the other wargod releases, I would keep expectations low for the audio, but I am buying the hell out of this either way.

I wasn't sure I was going to like this based on the singles, but holy shit is this good. Butch really knocked it out of the park on the production. And the vinyl sounds incredible.

100% in the same boat and agree about the 7" as they offer no information about a b-side. I know I am gonna regret not buying this one.
I'm on the fence as well, but I think I will just buy it. If I change my mind later, I'm sure I will be able to sell it for a profit.

That is nuts. I ordered 2 red copies from Walmart, so maybe I will sell one to pay for that box set!

Apparently, a Wax Ecstatic pressing is in the works.
06/29/22
First pressing Wax Ecstatic vinyl coming soon!
We are excited to announce the very first pressing of our second full-length Wax Ecstatic this summer! Details to follow...
Stay tuned!
Fuck yes.

I managed to get an order in before they took them down. Based on past experience, there should be no issues with them fulfilling my order.
Really excited to see this on 2LP. The single LP pressing has always felt a bit flat to me.

I fuckin wish!
Favorite format.
Really? I despise 10" records. They don't fit nicely on my shelves and they are harder to clean.

Looks like I paid 52.91 to popmarket for my copy. Feels good to not patronize Amazon. I do try so rigorously to avoid it.
I'd buy from Amazon over Popmarket every time. Much better customer service. Better return policy. And half of my Popmarket orders have never even shown up.

Anyone interested in forming a league this year? Always do one every year with my buddies, but I want to try to do multiple this year.
I would be down. I did 5 leagues last year, which was too many. Trying to do 3 max this year. I'm locked in on two already.

Yeah ordered mine from Bull Moose and got it last week.
Damn, I cancelled my Bull Moose order because they told me it wasn't the retail exclusive. I guess I should have held out.

There is also a limited tour edition with signed setlist here;

I also had no idea they were releasing more music so soon.

Interesting... and you're including FNM, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, solo work, scores, collaborations?
Don't get me wrong, I bought vinyl/CD yearbook/cassette and find it to be a fun album, but not even remotely close to his best work.
Yup, talking everything. It's my favorite non-FNM Patton work for sure.

Single is pretty underwhelming to be honest.
I know Mike has been dealing with his mental health as of late, but between the last "Bungle" album and this, I get the distinct feeling he's just phoning it in.
Would love another Tomahawk or FNM album when he gets it together...
Holy shit, the last Mr. Bungle album is a top three Patton album for me.

Black vinyl is also up on Amazon for the same price + free shipping.
Gonna hold off on pre-ordering this for now, the last album wasn't all that great. But historically, this band makes good music, so I'll press play on that video in a sec.
I thought their last album was great. Their only miss for me so far was Neck of the Woods.

I would prefer 12 Bar Blues or Happy in Galoshes, but I will probably buy this even though most of these versions are terrible and I rarely listen to Christmas music.
