I've ordered from Target quite a few times. If you order something that's popular and coming from a store, it will be shipped in a big box with very little protection. If you order something that isn't available in stores, it will usually come in a mailer. Oddly enough, the stuff that comes in mailers is often more damaged than the stuff in the big boxes.

Agreed. Most I could justify is $250 for this box, which would be $30 per album plus an extra $40 for the packaging/book.

I will wait to see if these are released individually. 

I don't have enough time to listen to all my records, so sometimes I stack them on top of each other on the player so I can spin four or five at once.

Are you talking about Von? Because that's by far my least favorite album of theirs. Very little magic there for me. Everything since has has infinitely more magic.

Is the red variant the only one that's gatefold? The others all show a single sleeve with two discs.

My split is wobbly but I haven’t dropped the needle yet, so I don’t know if it affects the sound.  Probably won’t but you hate to see it.

Based on this review, I will pass on this pressing and stick with by gatefold SRC copy.

I was a little annoyed that they did a super limited black press in 2018 and acted like it was the only press, and then a year later did a much wider blue press. But at least I have a great-sounding copy!

My guess is they took the CD and pressed it to vinyl. I would be very happy to hear otherwise. 

Is this exclusive to Deftones store or just a limited press?

Seems too cheap to be a boot and there is too little fanfare behind this to be official.

Plaidroom has been updating stock all day. I'm sure you're right that it's not perfectly accurate, but I've been tracking everything I want closely. For example, Our Lady Peace was at 25 copies at 9am and now it's at 14.
