First of all, I didn't down vote you. Second of all, I wasn't technically wrong. Look at the post office website and read the information about media mail. Ask the postal clerks. They will tell you that tracking isn't included. You got lucky with some sort of glitch. I have read at least a dozen stories since then saying that the PID number is not available online.

I'm going to my shop today. They have a copy, but not sure if it's a colored one. Is there a sticker on the outside?

I don't think $100 is worth it. The last two times I saw NIN was for less than $100 combined. These prices are outrageous. Don't worry if you missed the presale though. None of the venues will sell out on the regular sale. Not at these prices.

Weird. UPS has always just dropped off packages everywhere I've lived. Apartment complexes, townhomes, house. Doesn't matter. They drop the package, ring the bell, and get in the truck before they even know if I'm home.
 
And 10 miles roundtrip is nothing. I once had wine shipped to my house that required signature confirmation. Was never home when they tried to deliver. I had to drive 50 miles roundtrip at rush hour to get the stupid wine.

Wish I could help you, but I sold my copy a couple months ago. It was really hard to part with it, but the price was right. Good luck!

Talked to the postal clerk, and she said that I would not be able to track a package with media mail if I didn't pay the 90 cents. The PID number is only accessible by the post office.

I don't think media mail comes with tracking. I think that is just priority. When I shipped a record two weeks ago with media mail, I still had to pay for tracking.

STAND YOUR GROUND. Photos do not matter to ebay, as they are aware that the buyer can damage the package themselves.

Last month, I sold a $50 Stephen Malkmus record to some retard.
 
He wrote back and fucking complained that the paper inner sleeve was damaged, and the FUCKING PLASTIC SLEEVE was damaged.
 
After several emails, we basically went into mediation via ebay, and I told him - send back the UNPLAYED record and I will refund you, and he ended up losing essentially.
