Im ready for the repress.  Really wanted the tape, but when someone offered $75 for mine...I couldn't say no.

Yes, they should.  Pretty much every other retail store that offers % off deals, takes the % off of items that are already on sale.  If you go to Kohl's with a 30% off coupon, you get that % off of full price items, sale items, and even clearance items.  Same with Kmart, Macy's, Sears, Target.
 
A "promo" code should not affect sales that they already implemented themselves.
