Just saw this. I passed this up on RSD but would still like to get it, especially for only 16 bucks. I'm confused that modern vinyl is calling it a new variant. Wasn't black available at some point last year? Ok, that makes it a lot more clear. Sounds like SRC will be the way to go when they get their PO up. I feel sorry for those that put in a PO with 6131 and are having problems getting refunded. That's a crappy deal. I understand that people want to get a PO in for the first place that offers it so they don't run the risk of missing out by waiting, but sometimes you just have to be patient. I'd probably end up taking the credit for something else in their store and then never buy anything from them again.

After reading over all of the drama here, one thing remains very unclear to me. Who is putting this LP out? 6131 has it posted still for pre-order and I think grey is the only one available. SRC says currently unavailable. After reading this I really don't even want to mess with 6131. Could someone that's been following this give me the lowdown? I just want to buy this record, not interested in all the political bs.

Just got my copy. The first thing I noticed was just how red this "orange" vinyl looks. Aside from that, good quality pressing. The etched D-side is neat but I have a feeling the etching looks better on the 1st pressing Green.

My copy is out for delivery today. That was incredibly fast coming from Buffalo and being shipped out on Saturday.

I feel much the same way. Each one of their albums has it's own personality and they are all so good in their own way, it does make it difficult to order them. If my life depended on it (for some reason), my order would be something like this, in order from favorite to least favorite. 1. White Pony 2. Around the Fur 3. Diamond Eyes 4. Koi No Yokan 5. Saturday Night Wrist 6. Adrenaline 7. Deftones

Deftones is one of those bands that ages really well. They've matured quite a bit and their music has evolved but not transformed. Deftones will always be one of my favorite all-time bands. Koi No Yokan was very refreshing to me. Such a beautifully crafted album, everything from that hauntingly stunning cover art to the music that fits it like a glove.

I've said it earlier in this post and I'm going to say it again... 36 Crazyfists' Bitterness the Star, A Snow-Capped Romance and Rest Inside the Flames.

S/T is also my least favorite Deftones album. That's not to say that I don't like it, it's just way down on the list.

It's worth noting that Saturday Night Wrist is a great sounding LP, one of the best in my collection. Not my favorite Deftones album, but definitely the best sounding out of all my Deftones LPs. You should make a point to pick it up.

yeah, that's not a bad deal. comes out to about $17 per album. I still need to get Adrenaline, Diamond Eyes and S/T to complete my discography.

I like to remove all the shrink wrap from mine and write my last name with a big black sharpie on the front cover so everyone knows it's mine. That's the cool thing to do these days.

Just received a SRC email with an update on this: "For those who ordered Silverchair - Frogstomp the replacement LPs are in transition to us. We anticipate on shipping this by Monday as well. We thank you for your patience. If you have not yet ordered this, do so now as for its almost sold out"

Just saw that this album is getting a reissue in the US now. Due out in late October on black vinyl. This kind of makes me wonder if I should just hold off on getting the MOV reissue for Core to see if Core will also get a US reissue. I held off on the MOV release of Core and now it looks like I'm going to get a Black Friday RSD copy. Yellow vinyl is a little bit of a turn off, but it's not going to stop me from picking this up.

I've had that happen. I opted to use a q-tip with some wd40 on it. don't use too much as you wouldn't want to get any of the oil onto the label. It worked for me. Just work the record a little bit up the oil-glazed spindle and then let it back down to work the oil in a little, it should eventually slide off.

I got my copy from my local record store yesterday and it's as flat as a pancake.
