I'm excited that movie where him and the other guy from New Girl (Jake Johnson I think? I'm on my phone and googling would take more than 5 seconds) pretend to be cops. I mean, the trailer looked pretty bad but they're both just so likeable that I want it to be good.

My cat does this around 10-11am. I usually get up around noon because I'm a piece of shit (also, I work 2-10pm), but around 10am she starts jumping back and forth over me and then meowing when I open my eyes to look at her. She stops when my alarm goes off. Today was my day off so around noon she started freaking out and walking up and down my back meowing because I hadn't gotten up yet. On a couple occasions where I forgot the set my alarm or just overslept this was really helpful.

Someone in the Recently Viewing thread said David Wain's new movie is more in the vein of WHAS/The Ten than Role Models/Wanderlust and I am so fucking excited for it now.

I agree completely. I really wish Apt 23 and Happy Endings had kept going, but I guess ABC wanted some Modern Family ratings. I think my favorite thing about Apt 23 was learning the creator was a former showrunner for American Dad and immediately realizing Chloe was just a human and female Roger. The worst part about 2 Broke Girls is the leads are likable and have enough chemistry to be good for a well written non-garbage show.

That's really the only shirt I've ever had a problem with. I have a couple shirts (all on fruit of the loom) that fit weird, but they're from before I decided to go with small rather than medium. I've found all smalls are tight but not TOO tight, so that's dope. Unless I ever put on weight or gain muscle mass. The former is unlikely for now and the later is hilariously unlikely forever.

I think I've worn that shirt twice. It's not even my laundry day shirt. It's my "laundry day was last week and I'm a lazy piece of shit, go fuck yourself" shirt. MDAM came out around a time that I was on a big Hot Water Music kick so I got into them immediately. So now I think it's funny that both bands have new-ish records on Rise that I have never listened to.

MDAM are pretty cool but this is the most uncomfortable shirt I own by FAR. You shouldn't be able to feel the graphic against your skin. Shit is miserable when it's cold out.

This is going to be a controversial opinion, but fuck Firefly coming back. I really hope it never happens. I loved it when it was new and when it came out on DVD I got a bunch of people to watch it. I wish it had gotten more seasons, but at this point it's too far gone. A TV show is just something that can't come back after a certain point. Even if they got the cast it'd be almost impossible to get the entire creative team back. Just look at Community, it lost it's showrunner and a bunch of writers in season 4 and became an embarrassing shell of what it was. Sure, they got back on track for season 5, but that was a fluke and a testament to how strong Dan Harmon's creative vision can be. For the most part TV shows are a product of their time and their magic is just something that can't be reproduced. Arrested Development seasons 1-3 is my favorite TV show ever. I was ecstatic to see it come back last year. I had watched it from day one and DEMANDED it come back for years. In the end I enjoyed season 4 and appreciated what it was able to do with the format (punchlines coming several episodes before their setup and stuff like that), but the magic just wasn't there. It was painfully obvious they weren't able to get the actors in the same place at the same time for most of it and it really suffered for that. I just don't think Firefly coming back would work at all. I'm glad we got the season we did and wish it had gone on for a few more years. But now it's over and done. I enjoy most of Joss Whedon's work, but find him far from infallible. Futurama was another show I watched from the beginning and always wanted more of. When it finally did come back I was grateful, enjoyed seeing the characters again, but overall was left a little underwhelmed. The writing just wasn't as strong and I know it's because they didn't get a lot of their writers back. Of course, I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I strongly believe more Clone High could work. The series ended in such a way that the characters could be bought into the present day completely logically. Plus voice actors aging doesn't affect the way the characters will look. Since it's animated the whole cast could be brought back without having to worry about scheduling. Miller & Lord are super busy being successful directors, but they've said they're open to the idea of Clone High. Bill Lawrence isn't too busy and him Miller/Lord were the main creative force behind it. I want to believe it could work. Of course I believed the same thing about Futurama and Arrested Development, but who knows. I mean, how hard could it be to update a high school melodrama parody starring historical figures? This next season being the last was common knowledge I thought. I'm glad they're mixing it up with the time jump and then can hopefully go out while still bringing their A game. I will be pretty fucking sad to say goodbye to these characters though. Everyone who hasn't watched Rick and Morty should stop posting on internet message boards until they've watch every episode.

This is what's up. There are a lot of shows mentioned here that I loved and wish hadn't been canceled, but I don't think it would work if they brought them back now. Clone High, however, needs to be brought back and brought back forever and ever. I remember watching it when it was on MTV, loving it, and then completely forgetting about it. Then around 2008 I came across something about it and learned there were a bunch of episodes that never aired in the US. Since then I've probably seen each episode 20+ times. I made at least 10 people watch every episode with me. For awhile I had them all on my ipod so I could make my friends watch it while we were parked somewhere smoking weed. I really miss Happy Endings too, but Clone High is basically the best thing ever.

Parks and Rec's next season is its last. Unless one of their new shows is good they'll have nothing left. Although I've heard good thigs about Hannibal. I'll probably catch up on that now that everything has ended for the summer.
