Evil Dead remake was pretty cool. I mean it ended with and that's metal as fuck. Definitely top tier as far as recent horror remakes/reboots go.

You're Next, Tucker and Dale, Cabin in the Woods would be a pretty dope "Let's drink and watch movies" triple feature. I had high hopes for Tucker and Dale and CitW but You're Next really blew me away because I went in knowing nothing about it.

They'd make a good double feature, but yeah Tucker and Dale should definitely be first because Cabin in the Woods just goes so fucking hard. I kinda wish it wasn't 3am because now I want to watch CitW.

Holy shit, that would make perfect sense. Ft13th is my favorite horror franchise. I got a shitty/small Jason's hockey mask tattoo a few years ago.

I've been following Donald Glover as a comedian and a rapper since his youtube days. I really wish he'd calm down with the music a bit and do more comedy. He's not a BAD rapper, but he's an amazing comedian. Way better at comedy than he is at rapping. Everyone needs to watch the Derrick Comedy movie Mystery Team. Is it streaming yet? I've been meaning to preorder it but money is stupid.

It's basically the correct year to be born. Favorite band, I'd say either Converge or Talking Heads. Album, I've been listening to Trophy Scars - Goodnight Alchemy a lot lately. Not my favorite ever, but it's been on my turntable the most the past month or so. Favorite song, again not of all time, Self Defense Family - I Can't Be Relied Upon (To Suck the Cocks of Cowards With No Souls).

I lurked a bit when I was like 19-21 but mostly I came to VC for Virgil's distro. Which makes me feel really old because that was 7-8 years ago. But we'll all be dead one day, so time is whatever. Oh yeah, hello small talk thread.

Prisoners was dope as hell. Roger Deakins fucking killing it with them lenses and shit. I'm rewatching Tucker and Dale vs Evil for the first time in a few years. This movie owns. The kid diving into the wood chipper is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I guess they just announced there is a sequel in development, I hope that pans out.

Mine departed from Boston at the beginning of the week and hasn't updated since then Not complaining I just usually get TSR packages like two days after the ship so every time I check the tracking I get bummed.

Greg from Dillinger Escape Plan threw a box fan into a crowd and knocked out a kid. Fan bashing double whammy.

Watched World on a Wire Part 1 the other day but forgot my Hulu plus free trial was expiring so I couldn't watch Part 2 the next day. Oops. Might just pay the $8 to see how many Criterion films I can watch in a month. Cool to see a scifi film from the 70s tackle the whole "reality inside a computer" thing.

I once wrote 25 pages in 15 straight hours. Printed it out, walked to class, handed it in, and then passed out on a desk. They had physically shake me awake when class was over. It was dope and I got an A. My motto for writing papers was "Never prepare, never look back, and any progress at all means I deserve a cigarette/coffee or an internet break" Of course I dropped out 3 semesters away from a degree. But goddammit did I have all A's in my English classes (I was an English Lit major).

I had one but the tape deck is busted. I used to have one of those adapters that used radio frequencies but it was pretty much useless. Never could get it to come through clearly or consistently. Sometimes they play something cool on the radio though. I heard Prince on the way home tonight.

I've learned to tolerate the radio because my tape deck is broken and I don't want to spend an hour in dead silence every day driving to and from work. Although sometimes I will just listen to commercials because all the stations are playing unlistenable garbage at the same time.
