  1. On the band's website or the first post in this thread look at their press release. There are individually bolded letters that spell out "NEW VINYL SOON" It's kinda hard to see on their website, but it's there.
  2. Press release for a tour commemorating the anniversary of an album with "NEW VINYL SOON" spelled out in bold letters. Sounds like a repress. MWY doesn't seem like the type of band to fuck with people. If this was Brand New doing a Deja Entendu tour with that hidden message I'd be like "It's probably a Daisy repress"
  3. Ditto So stoked on this repress. Last time it was pressed I kept ALMOST buying it then having something else come up, now it's constantly on discogs for way too much money. But fuck you, west coast. Fuck you. So pissed this tour isn't coming to the Northeast. It's been too long since I made it out to a World is show and when I saw MWY a couple months ago they only played one song off CFUTF.
  4. Super stoked that tour is coming to my shit city. It'll be the 2nd show I've seen here since moving 4 years ago. Might leave after The Hotelier, definietely leaving after Tiny Moving Parts. MB does nothing for me.
  5. Daisy and TDAG are way better than Deja. Deja has some a'ight songs I guess. I don't get the Brand New hate OR hype. Decent band, terrible fans.
  6. I know some stores really inflate their prices for RSD. I remember hearing horror stories of stores selling ATDI - Relationship of Command (retail $35~) for $60+ last year. I hope no one paid over $7-8 though. I'm just stoked to have a copy coming my way, I wasn't even going to bother trying to get one.
  7. They were probably like $10+ at stores on Saturday. Just think of it as a dollar an inch, in some situaions that would be a bargain! I lucked out and my buddy went to his store after work and while everything he wanted was long gone there was one last copy of this sitting on the shelf so he grabbed it for me.
  8. I had a chocolate frosted donut this morning. I don't need all these fancy colors and fillings. Just give me a regular chocolate any day of the week. It was pretty delicious though.
  9. I've gotta work. Probably for the best because I struck out completely last year and Im broke. Anyone ever been to Shattered Ego in Wappingers? I just found out they exist and I work 5 minutes away. Of course, I work 9-5 so everything will be gone but I still might check it out.
  10. Well, if they don't get renewed we know they all died because an asteroid hit the Earth and wiped out all life.
  11. The Raid 2 It looks like most theaters are pulling this after tonight. It's a goddamn shame this was only in theaters for a week. It was awesome. Not as relentless and amazing as the first one, but still fucking awesome.
  12. Me reading a conversation about current pop punk: Those lyrics are hilariously bad though.
  13. I had the same thing happen to me with "hella" but I managed to cut that shit out. Dope, however, is legit as fuck. I'll call things dope until I die.
  14. I saw someone say this on twitter so I won't take credit for it, but they really missed an opportunity by not calling it ""In Tributero" Either way, I'm stoked for the "new" These Arms are Snake, Daughters, and Thursday tracks. This album is going to be dope as fuck regardless of color.
  15. My favorite memory from going to shows when I was younger was seeing Jacob Bannon literally kick someone off the stage when they did the deer in headlights "I don't know what to do now" thing. Jump first, ask questions later. It's actually kind of exhilarating to be mid air and realize you might hit the ground and die.
  16. When did stage moshing become such a "thing"? I've been seeing it in videos a lot lately, but in a decade of going to shows have never seen it IRL once. Get on stage and jump off, dweebs. No one wants to see your sweet pit moves.
  17. Just be sure to buy the record AFTER they play. You don't want to be the dude clutching a record trying to avoid the mosh in a tiny basement.
  18. I'm not of any help, but just a heads up that there's a new Whenever, if Ever press up for sale right now. I still need black, red, whatever the 4th press was, and now the White 5th pressing. I might just give up.
  19. I think I said this months ago in this thread: Bad Milo is a better movie, but Hell Baby is funnier. Both are worth a watch. But I'll watch anything with members of The State involved. Wet Hot American Summer is basically perfect. If you're reading this and haven't watched WHAS, fix that immediately.
  20. I found the whole thing hilarious but at the time I was just worried the show was going to get shut down. I kinda wanted to go talk to the kids and find out what the fuck they thought they were talking about. I had nothing better to do during Emmure's set than watch the pit and it was just some lame "kids who think they're tough karate chopping the air" shit. No one got hurt and no one was starting shit. Judging by how young they looked I think they just read some shit about the Boston Beatdown videos online and got scared that dudes were moshing. But seriously, who just walks up to some cops and tells them ANYTHING? I like Brand New but anyone who calls them "punk rock" can't be older than 12.
  21. Plus some of the best comedies are "dumb" and people like to feel like they're smart so they'll hate something that's actually hilarious. Hot Rod, for example, had terrible reviews AND box office numbers but I'll always be glad I saw it in theaters because it's amazing. Definitely the same with horror movies. Most 80s slashers are trash, but god damn if it isn't fun and entertaining trash. Edit: I just finished watching L'argent and it was just ok. If you're going to watch a Robert Bresson film, definitely watch A Man Escaped
  22. I love Kaye West because his ego is basically performance art at this point. Like, he HAS to be in on it and just fucking with people. Good producer, mediocre to bad rapper though. I'm being too positive for this thread. I'm at a point where music I would hate doesn't even really register with me anymore, so I'll take an easy potshot at Emmure because they're playing my city on Sunday. Garbage music for trash people. I saw them open for Misery Signals once and it was some of the worst shit I've ever heard. Plus their fans are a bunch of soft ass narcs. Outside the venue two kids in flat brims were telling two cops "We're scared to go back inside because FSU is beating people up for no reason." I can say with 100% certainty this was not the case. Bonus LOLZ because the cop's response was "FSU? Those are the guys with X's on their hands, right?"
