This album is fantastic, just nabbed the Poison City splatter variant and a copy of the split 7" w/ Cayetana.

Pretty sure billboard said it will be 10,000 copies, so similar to the clear Carrie and Lowell. Should be easy enough to get if you visit your local or watch the usual websites within a day or 2 of RSD

Dead Oceans ran a comp for a Kevin Morby test pressing a couple months ago but never announced a winner so I sent them an email and they said I could have it. Pretty pleased with that.

Damn, I wish I’d read the description before purchasing and held out on an Amoeba pre-order (free shipping + I have a 10% off code) but at the same time I’m glad I can finally give up on scouring the web for a copy.

Stoked to see a handful of US dates along with the album announcement. I’ll be grabbing tickets to the LA show on Friday for sure.

Despite the title, Distortion was finger picked and acoustic. It was definitely pretty somber but a little more reflective than the tracks on Crow. Tintin was melodic but heartbreaking and detailed Phil’s meeting with Genevieve for the first time.

Tintin In Tibet and Distortion were amazing when I saw him. I know he’s played a few others live but I’ll wait for the LP.

Bummed I couldn’t find a presale for LA but the Palladium is pretty big so it shouldn’t be terrible grabbing tix tomorrow morning. Psyched to catch the first show of the tour!
