Are you shitting me? This was one of the records I waited patiently forever to obtain, found one last year in Thailand under $50 after years of waiting for a decently priced one to pop up. Should of waited one more year....

I wish. Yes, I have. To put it in perspective though, I was a fan of Memory Map first and took my records to be signed by Mike the first 2 times. The third time was at Cat Con here in L.A., which makes me seem crazy again.

I passed on Meow the Jewels, but I'm gonna buy the shit out of this! I've met Bub three times now, she's pretty awesome... and her dude Mike is in the band Memory Map who are also awesome.

Nice, INO is the only one I'm missing. All of their releases have been fairly expensive even at retail (except Circumambulation). I wonder if these will be cheaper.

I stand by my dramatic statement. "Hands all over me" could easily of been a Gloria estefan song from the 80's if you just added bongos. But honestly, it's specifically that song that ruined it for me. The album as a whole isn't too bad, I just wish she would of called this project something different than Tamaryn.

As a fan that loved the first two albums, this new album sounds like fucking Gloria Estefan back in her Miami Sound Maschine days. Luckily, I was at the last show with the original line-up with Rex and got to hear all my favorite songs. I guess I'm just more of a fan of Rex than Tamaryn, he made that band.

Seriously, If I wanted to play with TMNT figures would just dig mine out of my parents attic.

I'm seeing them tonight. I'll probably pick up their first album while Im there. I had the same problem with a Chelsea Wolfe record I ordered from hellomerch a few months back. I emailed them a video of the record on my player to show how warped it was, they told me the same thing about putting it in glass. I emailed them back saying that's not acceptable and I shouldn't have to do that to a new record. Well, they actually sent me a new copy, they just asked that I send back the one I had (which I did). You kinda have to be persistent with them. But, I thought they had a lot of nerve to tell me to put a brand new record inbetween some glass and put it in the oven.

Their live guitar player is Dave Pino (of Andrew WK). I wouldn't be suprised if it was his side project.

My splatter has some bad pops and clicks on side B. I've been real unlucky lately with shit like this...

Yeah, I just went in for whatever was the cheapest. After thinking about it, I rarely listen to records with all the lights off. The GITD novelty would be very short lived.

Or change the color of the pressings completely. I also ordered the SA with this, I wonder if they will wait to ship both of mine until Sept. now? Sounds like something shitty they would do.

I got an email too saying they ran out of Package 4, "we were shorted about 30 from the manufacturer" they say. Seems like they should get them to make more copies instead of fucking over their customers.

Well, I guess that's good to know that the other pressings are OK. Bad news is now I have to find another copy.

Does anyone else's copy of Pinkshinyultrablast - Everything Else Matters sound like shit? There's so much distortion on my Clear With Orange And Black Splatter version.

Are we talking about those carbon fiber brushes? If so, I use those all the time while the platter is spinning to get rid of static and cat hair, you really don't have to use any force. It puts way less force on the motor/belt than putting a record puck/weight would. But if you're trying to clean smudges or deep clean the thing then yeah, take it off.

I've been getting emails about the Say Anything box set I ordered being delayed due to RSD and also warping issues. If they're using the same plant for this (which is in europe) then the Limbeck release is delayed as well. I ordered both, I thought they were just waiting to mail mine until the SA came in. Guess not.

I got a white one, but there were still some left after I bought it at 11:20. Sucks bruh, happened to me with the esprit.

FML. I was going to buy the esprit... sold out. So like an asshole I bought the Carbon DC, I'm happy and feel sick at the same time.... time to start selling some of my extra circa survive albums. Kinda glad I didn't get the esprit, I'd feel even worse.
