Midnight Odyssey / Igric / Aeon Winds - Ardorem (Split) Listened to this thing the other night and damn it's good. The production varies on each track which is a little distracting, but overall all tracks are solid and flow nicely. This new one in particular is a little more electro driven, similar to Tycho, but still has a flare for the retro. Their old albums, The Coastal Obscure, and The Glowing Final Cut are top tier synthwave.

Eh, not really. The Midnight is just a super poppy band. I'd say if anything, Nocturnal is their most 'gritty' one by their measure; a lot of sax on that one though.

Idk man, I've have some good luck with splatters in my collection, specifically ones with black or white, and specifically from BSM, but I get your point. Will probably grab the color in color as well and see how the splatters turn out, see if I'll swap for the band press down the line. Single is all the best parts of King of Whys, so fuckin excited!

Glad I didn't miss the splatter from BSM, now I'm deciding if I need a second, PV Early Bird or the other splatter... hmm (the TP is too rich for my blood right now) And holy shit that song and cover art...

Super old topic to bump, but I'm wondering if anyone has a link to video/digital version of the bonus cd that came with this? I'm working from home now and my laptop doesn't have a cd player, and my setup is in another room of the house, don't want to drag it all around. Was just listening to this record the other day and remembers how relaxing that thunderstorm recording was, I just can't seem to find it online anywhere, unless I'm daft.
