Well. I received my SS package yesterday and I have absolutely NO self control. So... It was opened immediately.
 
Whoever you are, oh my lawd. You made my year. Seriously. How did you know to get THESE records out of my massive want list ..? I will never know but I am so thankful because they were literally the top priority records to get. And to get color variants of every single ONE!? I might have cried a little. You are so kind and you have no idea how happy you made me. Not to mention, I think we are wrapping twins. I love kraft brown paper for wrapping and your hand stamped paper was the cutest thing I have ever seen. And your little Christmas berry on top? You better believe I am saving all of that like a hoarder. 
 
Basically you're the best. 
 
BUT. You left me with ZERO clues!? How am I supposed to guess?? I literally have no idea, but forgive me men if you are crafty, I am going to guess it was a girl because of the wrapping love. DANIONLY IS IT YOU!?

Well. I was pretty meh about this roll. I was shooting some Portra 400 and I much prefer Agfa (it has more cooler tones than Portra). And I really need to get my eyes checked. I missed some really good shots due to manual focus issues. Ugh. Here are a few. Nothing too exciting.

Oh man. That isn't cool... I may not know you personally.. but what I do know is this.
 
We are intrepid. We carry on. Even if that means one day at a time. I have been there, dude. I want you to know you aren't alone. This crazy life sucks sometimes, and all we can do is encounter every moment as it comes. I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel better nor am I going to try to convince you to be happy by saying "cheer up" and shit like that. I just want to encourage you to seek community and help. Please please please seek friends, family, a hotline, something. Your life has value and meaning whether you realize it or not. <3

I don't necessarily believe in karma, but I do believe in God. Ya ya you all can roll your eyes at me but we are all entitled to our own thang. For me I think "who am I to say what is good? Who am I to define what should or shouldn't happen?" I am so small. So ridiculously small in the grand scheme of things. Yet this life is a gift in my eyes. And I have had a lot of shitty stuff happen to myself and people I know. I'm not saying it happens in every instance, but I can say from my own experience I have seen negative experiences be used for good. I have either learned something great, or have actually been able to love other people better out of empathy because I knew what they were going through. I know it's a huge question and kind of a simple answer. And I'm not saying it fixes it all, but that is how I view it.

I don't know if you guys have John Lewis (the huge department store) over there however every year they do a christmas advert which is usually the best one of the year.
