Kalamazoo, MI’s math rock/screamo act The Reptilian make their Skeletal Lightning and Community Records debut with End Paths. Progressing from their roots on Count Your Lucky Stars and musical ancestors such as Envy and Slint, The Reptilian situates among contemporary acts such as Loma Prieta and Battles without appearing derivative of them. End Paths is, for its grace and rage, a swanlike anthem crafted emotionally and intelligently to never soften too much for punk crowds nor lose the indie crowd with simplicity. Eight passionately shouted calls from within rapid structures of dynamically spry post-hardcore melody and flowing, adrenal rhythm.

We added a few copies of the American Football Deluxe Reissue tour pressing on 180-Gram Reflex Blue to our E-Store in case you missed out on grabbing a copy at a show.

To be fair, Polyvinyl has randomly selected albums from their discography for a few years and turned them into pic discs as collector type pieces. Yes it screams of "the hobby" but Polyvinyl keeps all their albums in print in black vinyl (typically) so I think it's really cool of them to do special stuff every now and again. If they wanted quick money they could press several of their albums on tons of different colors and people would keep buying. Go Polyvinyl. I don't want this but they have my respect.
