Just weighing in for data points; I just got my Fountain and it sounds great. A few clicks and pops on the runouts obviously but nothing that affects the tracks themselves.

Is there any way to tell if you have the marbled just by the packaging? Or do you have to open the motherfucker?

If you enter in high orders it looks like there are less than 70 of the Red, less than 30 of the Blue. Certainly seems like, if that is the case, they just found a box somewhere.

Are you talking about the release of SJV3? I agree it was done poorly. What's odd is that the original plates were 45rpm, and that version sounded amazing...then V-D comes and drops a crackly, sibilant, 33rpm that is still a 2xLP. Made no sense to me.

They are pretty but the BL "Sky Blue" was $35 plus shipping, vs. $17 for this new press from Bullmoose. That's more than twice the price for color.

I know, I am probably just being manic because I have never ordered from Rough Trade before and I saw a rant at one point on reddit about a guy who was complaining of the same problem. We'll see what happens; I'd like to have faith in them.

I don't want to panic anybody but Rough Trade is *still* taking orders for the deluxe version, which has got to be sold out by now, and has both versions listed as "LP+" on their website (maybe so that they can just ship people who ordered Deluxe a standard version instead?). Seems questionable. I am inquiring with them about my order to clear this shit up.

Seems like an upgrade....unfortunately it probably means somebody received an opposite downgrade.

All I ordered was a Pluto but it shipped just fine.

Seems that this is up for $160 on Amoeba with free shipping. We're also probably one or two days away from the clockwork Amoeba 15% coupon being mailed out....
