Well, I know why this LP was so cheap now. Literally the worst QC I have seen on a record that was not a bootleg. I am shocked this was even accepted from the factory. My copy is missing the center label on side one (of two - a single LP), has audible cracks and pops fresh out of the packaging (after brushing), and the real treat is that the center hole on the LP is drilled wider than a standard spindle hole so the record moves around on the table, and ADDITIONALLY is shaped conically...one side pushing out from the plane of the record so that it cannot sit flat on the platter. Fair enough. I find it suspect that, while all other GH listings say Long Play Record in the title, this one just says Long Play, and is listed in the CDs section of their store. But you're right, it does claim record in one place. I'm just saying, I won't be surprised if people end up with CDs.

That is listed under CD's and does not say vinyl or record anywhere on the listing that I see. Buyer beware.

This whole GoHastings eBay thing today is bonkers. At first I thought it was just great, but now I'm devolving into skepticism. A new 7lp set for $12 shipped? Seems fishy.

It's only $120 for "early buyers", and additionally, shipping is freaking free in the US. Not bad.

Good to finally see confirmation of the High Fidelity soundtrack.

I just asked Midheaven about my order and they confirm that the vinyl is black this time around.

The price on US Amazon will come down. It always does. They price conservatively at first, which I don't really understand since they have a pre-order price guarantee. Maybe they are just gauging interest.

How much was this record initially? I was just at a record show in Portland this weekend, and one of the vendors had a copy of this and Shenmue, sealed. Was asking $60 apiece. I assumed it was a flipper price but wasn't sure how much it originally cost after shipping.
