  2. Is this working for you? Mine is saying audio temporarily unavail and only playing the first 2 seconds of each song.
  3. Is it not OK to talk about this now? I mean, he claims he is going legit. So, really, it is like talking about any small startup label. The boots stay in the mudroom where they belong.
  4. Lord knows we aren't pulling out the vinyl until a repress....last I looked it was going for like $400 on Discogs.
  5. Selling the following; unlimited shipping for $4. Shipping might be a buck or two more for a big box set like the Lennon. 6. I should mention that all the vinyl I have pressed from CL (A Piece of Strange Records) is pressed immaculately. They usually opt for 45rpm and their records are heavy, perfectly-centered, and flawless...as well as usually some nice splatter presses. I can only assume the same treatment from Dirty Decibels, but I've not heard of them before.
  7. From the Cunninlynguists' FB page, Kno (their producer....amazing beats) is releasing 400 copies of this album on vinyl. Shipping seems expensive on the packaging; I think their biz model is to shift cost to shipping so that they don't get hit as hard on fees for selling their records. Anyway, I haven't listened to this album yet obviously, but Kno is brilliant and he shits gold. Should be a good one. http://www.dirtydecibelsrecords.com/
  8. Vinyl I've gotten from SRC has had no quality issues, I just dislike them as a company because their customer service and responsiveness are shit. No variant should be $15 more than the standard black for a 1xLP. I feel like I just played myself on this whole Odelay thing.
  9. Damn, this track was one of my first introductions to electronic music.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJhpu3H9PlI&list=PL36A3C974F63815B1&index=6 Edit: had to unembed Youtube because it was linking the wrong track. Should be Do It Now.
  10. The Radiohead thread has me worried about my Rough Trade deluxe order. In the Moon Shaped Pool thread a guy is bitching about Rough Trade and how he ordered the deluxe album but they sent him a standard, and refuse to refund him. RT is the only vendor still selling the deluxe of this Keaton Henson (that I can find, including Keaton's own store), so it seems likely that they don't understand how limited it is. Has anyone had problems with them before?
  11. Sounds like something a filthy Radiohead casual would say. Glorious OK Computer master race checking in.
  12. They must have upped the price when some of them sold; it was definitely $10 shipped when I posted.
  13. Good opportunity to get that Kings of Leon box set for $10 if you missed it on Amazon for $12: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kings-Of-Leon-Early-Albums-Box-Vinyl-New-/361553613628?_trkparms=%26rpp_cid%3D56940e85e4b064d6dc918139%26rpp_icid%3D576c0b5de4b0c6d557ce3bd9
  14. Yes unfortunately they charged me immediately. I wish I had cancelled when I realized they wouldn't be dropping the VAT from the price, but it was only a $6 difference at that point so I figured I would avoid the trouble of cancelling and reordering. Now the difference is much larger.
  15. Yes, white with the aforementioned black streaks in it.
  16. I ended up with an Optimal (from Reckless) and it sounds very solid, throughout the majority of the album. I get a few light clicks during Glass Eyes (first song Side C), and then some actual troublesome pops during True Love Waits (last song Side D). Overall I am fine with it, I just wish the noisy song weren't one of the quietest on the album to begin with.
  17. Here's an interesting question...I ordered this from the States, and went with Norman records because I bought before the link to Rough Trade appeared in the thread. Decided not to switch even though it would have saved me $6. However, now the Pound has fallen significantly in comparison to the dollar. If I cancel my Norman order, who eats the difference in values of the currency between when I ordered and when I cancelled? I would assume I would get all my USD back, but that difference has to come from somewhere, right? Anyone have any exp with this?
