    I am only missing two:
*** Tertia - 1st Press - 2xLP - Transparent Maroon (EU Tour Edition) - /100 - 2009 - US - MS [Convinced this has fallen in a European black hole. Phil is determined to find a copy for me, but I don't think he fully understands how rare this is. Maybe one day it'll happen.]
*** Dust And Disquiet - 1st Press - 2xLP - Clear w/ Black Color in Color- /200 - 2015 - EU - BSM [Ordered this, but the label sent black. By the time I got mine and realized the mistake, this variant was gone.]

Just finished my ITTCT variant collection.  Only missing a test press for S/T and Red Forest which will 99.9% never happen.

Look, I didn't mean to offend you, you seem to take Relient K seriously, but why is it just "the Matt's?" Didn't the og drummer come back?
My point is I like album art, not just "beautiful photography"

I liked Look on Up. But in this instance I'm glad we are getting 16 songs and not a rehash of Look on Up. I'm glad Relient K are putting a lot of songs on this. I hope for a better cover though...

Skip to 4:35 to see the band tell the crowd to get up on stage after security has been bullying them the entire show. Pretty cool to see

they said in the comments that they plan to have vinyl to sell after the pre order. presumably for less than $50. hopefully this is the case because I want this. I also hope they get the EP pressed.

Pretty sure you are answering your own question.

Just because Im a big fan doesnt mean they can do no wrong.

I do think the album has strong points, but no, their debut is much stronger in my opinion.

I like m83 for the shoegaze, cinematic style.
Not for the cheesy synth pop band they are turning into.

    Musicianship, tops.
    Overall inspiration, lacking.
    Groundbreaking, zero.
    Listening quotient, enjoyable.

How could you claim to be a huge m83 fan and then criticize this album so much?  This is an album Anthony made for himself like I mentioned before the great parts of the album are truly mesmerizing.  Even though it's not their best album it's still better than the debut.  And a weak M83 album is still a good album.

Who knows? There was someone on reddit who really summed up the album.  It has its imperfections at moments and can be frustrating but the good parts are not just good they're excellent.  A lot better than most of the stuff I heard this year.

Kess is such a big fan he thinks Morgan Kibby is a guy.

Also 0% disco or Daft punk

Also Its a Harmonica solo at the end.

Also all the Ballads were the most 'm83' songs.

    ....

    Not hating.... just sayin.

Yeah. IDK. It's super hard to judge. I'd say I am more floating between a 6-7, but as I said, When I want to listen to m83, this is the last album I'd put on.
I can't see myself ever listening to it past the next few days/weeks.
Even that 7 is just me trying my hardest to like an album from a band that in my opinion has been one of the greatest bands of the past decade.
I think had HUWD not been so successful, we would be listening to a much better record right now.
    Just my two cents.

Everytime I would think a song was sounding alright it would add some cheesy bass or drums to make it sound like Im listening to a cheesy 80's sitcom.

    Sitcom or M83?;

Not sure if you've noticed or not, but those don't seem to be just samples. They start at certain sections of the songs but just click the beginning of the waveform. You'll have to keep clicking after each highlighted section ends, but, you're welcome?

idioteque... is downvoting me, not sure why, as he hasnt even posted in this thread.
I can't hate on m83 because their direction is constantly changing, but up until this point it has always sounded mike "m83" to me.
    These songs just dont.

m83 was always about being lost in thought. Very emotional, with incredible build ups and spacey synths with little vocals.
I think the slow transition has made it easier for people to get on board, the last 3 albums have slowly been drifting to this.

I will check this out and honestly try my best to like it, but the m83 I have loved for over a decade is about to release their worst album(i think)

And not to sound redundant, but losing Morgan Kibby is a huge blow. Especially with tracks that depend so heavily on vocals.

I'm having very mixed emotions on all these tracks. It's not bad but It just sounds more accessible and more expensive. I'm not getting any emotional rise like his other albums delivered.
