  1. didn't see this posted by you fine folks yet, so... the tribute lp stated in the title of this thread http://www.alr-music.com/ if you already knew, then disregard. Also, thanks for the heads-up on Seu Jorge. I don't mind waiting another month for a PO. It's not like I haven't waited years already.
  2. found some new, random PO info while searching - Thanks OP
  3. Vol. 2 - Very limited info, lol http://www.bullmoose.com/p/16967671/dave-porter-breaking-bad-original-score-2 http://www.amazon.com/Breaking-Bad-Original-Score-2/dp/B00NPDVTBI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413829374&sr=8-1&keywords=breaking+bad+vinyl+lp and while searching, per http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/106920-mega-msale-at-ccmusiccom/, this was the first hit - http://www.ccmusic.com/music/vinyl/3989596/dave-porter-breaking-bad-original-score-2 This has a release date of November 24th. Could we see this the 28th? (BFri)
  4. I immediately thought of a goat eating hay, saying, "HAY HAAAAAAY" - but I haven't a clue how to make gif's, sooooooo...... I somewhat grew up on SpaceGhost, and Brak was my fav. "DON'T TOUCH ME"
  5. Yeah, it was one of the things my Mom and I bonded over when I was young. She would always make it a point to remind me it was coming on. It would be excellent if they released something soundtrack wise. This is the 25th year anny, so it would make sense.
  6. You're only the second person to say anything about my avatar since I joined. Thanks and congrats!
  7. "Dear Twitter Friends: That gum you like is going to come back in style! #damngoodcoffee" 11:30am - 3 Oct 14 David Lynch posted this yesterday. I'm putting this in here because it's the only appropriate thread, so far........ This makes me excited
  8. The album is streaming in full, right now from his website, in partnership with Boiler Room, for 24hrs. Also with an accompanying film. http://flying-lotus.com/youre-dead/
  9. I only have a few, but I actually found one at a local shop the other day, and I've spun it quite a bit in 4 days. It's not that rare of an album, as it was pressed a lot over the years, but I had yet to find one in a bin. Made my month, and for only $5. Probably not anyone else's taste, but hey, tastes are tastes Bob James - One the last track on the album, "Nautilus", is one of the most sampled of all time
  10. The show starts in February. RSD release for Saul? You guys already got the music for this? If McKean is playing bass on one of the cuts, I'm in
  11. I repeatedly called them since I could tell that part of my order was not going to be here when they said it would be. I spoke with the same woman in shipping each time. She thought it could have been just "left in the wall", hence why it hadn't gone out on time. It wasn't, and I simply said that wasn't good enough. I wanted next-day shipping, AND a credit for the album (Mirror) that was pushed back. My reason being was that a few of the local shops I follow had received theirs on time. I told customer service I would have gotten these from my local store if I would have known this was going to be the case. They obliged my request, and told me to keep the album I have yet to receive. My GF and I order a lot from Amazon, and never have any problems. Might have had something to do with it, idk
  12. I received Sounds From and The Richest Man today, but they pushed my Mirror Conspiracy a few days. I was on the phone 4 days ago with their shipping dept., as they had overlooked my order. I've had this issue with a few other orders, and I wonder if it was due to being one of the first ones to order. Some local record shops had no issues with receiving Mirror, if that's worth anything. Their screw up gave me a $23 credit, and a free record when it gets here, since I ordered it with Prime. I'll take it.
  13. Same as RSD, just a smaller amount of releases. You still have to go to your local record store, and nothing is sold online, until after that day. Usually from the individual stores themselves, (like discogs). Where I live, the turnout is not nearly the same, and most people don't even know/pay attention. Edit: what Bear C just said about profits/losses is on point
  14. Just watched the premiere of season 5. I think it was obvious who Meyer is in with.... Watch your Ears!
  15. You can stream it through the New York Times Music website, per that pledgemusic page, as well http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/arts/music/pressplay.html?ref=arts&_r=0
  16. Good job tvham ;-) I wonder why Radio is cheaper? The latter 3 aren't up yet on Amazon, B&N, and SS edit: if they actually press Babylon Rewound again, I'll streak down my street. With socks on. edit: edited the OP edit: all 6 are on Amazon now, with the latter 3 starting at $24.99 ea.
  17. Not to my knowledge. INgrooves announced back in the spring that they were pressing these, and Oasis, and someone else. It's still on their page. I haven't seen anything else regarding any of their other albums. If you do, let us know. I'll do some searching tonight.
  18. @tvham - I read about that show. Lucky. Massive would be nice to cross off my list. I saw Thievery in Chicago at North Coast a few yrs. back. I didn't expect that type of crowd to be that into them. I was wrong. The late night set was even better. Fond memories. @bib - thanks for the insight on Nomad. Still their best (imo), and still my fav. Great traveling (road) album. Just like anything by Thievery. I'm a Thievery freak, lol
  19. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. Period. I'm wondering how these will sound being on 120g? @bib - I've read over your collection, and see that you have those original presses. Speaking way ahead since we haven't heard these yet, what are the weights of yours? By the way, I dig your collection. You and I have a lot of similar tastes...your Sphongle collection is outstanding. Props on someone else in here digging Lotus, btw. (Why won't they press Nomad???)
  20. Yes Yes Yes! The hardest one to find is The Richest Man in Babylon. Expensive to say the least. I believe it was only pressed once, but I might be wrong. (my fav of those three) It seems that two of the three are going to match the digital versions (CD) in that they will have one/two more songs.
  21. About damn time INgrooves is heading it up, in celebration of the 20th year of Thievery Corporation Sounds, Mirror, Richest Man - Release Date 9/30/14 Cosmic, Radio, Culture - Release Date 11/17/14 Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Thievery-Corporation/e/B000APFP6E/ref=dp_byline_cont_music_1 Barnes and Noble: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/c/thievery-corporation/55238191 Soundstage has them for $24.99 each for the first 3. (as of 9/10) Barnes and Noble has them currently at $22.55 each for the first 3. (as of 9/10) Amazon now has the first 3 at $22.99 ea. (as of 9/26) Bull Moose has all 6 up in the range of $20.97 for Radio Retaliation, to $22.97 ea. for the other 5 (as of 9/9) http://www.bullmoose.com/search?q=thievery+corporation&SC=1 I still cannot find any kind of chatter/PR from anyone, including INgrooves. If anyone can, please post. I can't be the only one excited about this
