I think as we get older, it is harder to make/keep friends, but that's just my opinion. I live in a major college town, am 10-15 yrs older than the majority of the students naturally, and I knew it would be hard when I first moved here 6 yrs ago. My main focus is anything having to deal w music, and the one person I knew when I came here was/is still stuck on going out all the time, drinking. I can't keep up w the guy. (I can, but choose not to) Luckily, I met up w a lot of musicians here early, and a photog that hits up a lot of shows/festivals, and they keep me sane. My photog buddy is such an introvert, and w me being fairly outgoing, we pair nicely. All the friends I had growing up have married, and have kids, and being an hour away makes it hard. I'm not a FB guy, I just use it for bands/labels/tours, so I was forced fairly early on to just go and meet people here. Although, this town being a college town, we get a lot of music acts/bands. Made the transition easier, for sure.

We've heard of people dying while screwing, but.....in thin air? I think I'd be pretty pissed actually. And I just thought of Cut Copy - that was just a dream
