  1. I saw it up here in Canada but it was $74.99.... I shit you not - someone has REALLY got to love the Pineapple Express soundtrack to shell that out.
  2. Hope we find out when these will hit North America (or more specifically for me - Canada!) because I definitely need THIS IS HARDCORE and WE LOVE LIFE. I've been trying to track down a reasonably priced version of TIH for a while now.
  3. @darthmaul13 @michaelmercy I like it, he was great in Hail Caesar and doesn't bring baggage to the role that guys like Teller etc. would've

  4. Damage wasn't too mellow for me to get into but it was too simplistic - gone were the great lyrics and instead we got very generic songs with like 6 lines repeated - I mean fucking BOOK OF LOVE? For real? Great lyrics are a Jimmy staple, even the simple songs with big rocking choruses usually bring something to the table lyric wise - Damage had 5 decent tracks out of 10....the other albums are usually more 95% good with only a song or two of filler.
  5. Did a short vid after listening to the album twice - bottom line, sounds great. https://youtu.be/GxR5ceaIuEI
  6. I'm not really feeling the two songs released so far - GO was pretty subpar IMO. I will still get this but not shelling out the cash to get the coloured vinyl sent to Canada. If the songs were classics, I may have just bit the bullet.
  7. Picked up the following today: Better Call Saul 7" Star Wars Rebels 7" 311 7" Citizen Dick 7" Foo Fighters 10" Run The Jewels 12" Vampire Weekend 12" White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan
  8. which store? I didn't see this anywhere in my travels today.
  9. No used section - only new but fairly large inventory at this point and prices inline with online.
  10. Just an FYI, the soft open for the store was this week - decent stock, great staff and overall a very nice store. Had some rare releases kicking around too - picked up a copy of JIMMY EAT WORLD - BLEED AMERICAN (3lp), which was a score for me and well worth the trip to get there. The prices were decent and I'll definitely be back sometime in the future - also way better for us Canadians to be able to grab the SRC releases at the same price as the website without the huge shipping charges! Anybody else check it out yet?
  11. On Tuesday I picked up the new Awolnation and Modest Mouse albums. Wednesday I took a trip to the new SRCvinyl store in Niagara Falls - picked up the following: Bush - Razorblade Suitcase (2lp with d side etch) Bush - The Science of Things Death Cab for Cutie - Narrow Stairs Weezer - Death to False Metal Silverchair - Neon Ballroom (pink) and the real score of the trip for me - JIMMY EAT WORLD - BLEED AMERICAN (3lp version). I practically did cartwheels out of the store I was so happy they had it
  12. Finally got my copy of JURASSIC PARK - got the Dilophosaurus coloured vinyl variant, so I was pretty stoked for that - sounds great too.
  13. The shipping on their site is insane - I'm a diehard and was contemplating the $150 package - but shipping to canada is SIXTY DOLLARS. Excuse me!? Unbelievable.
  14. Great album - got the limited Clear vinyl pressing. Really digging it so far - excellent band.
  15. I know most people only remember mmmbop and they get flack for being prepubescent boys mistaken for girls, but that record is probably one of the most consistently good pop rock albums of the late 90's. Yeah it's bubblegum, but it's pretty damn good.
  16. Amazon.ca has this listed for $30 so I preordered a copy - great soundtrack and love the colour choices.
  17. I thought maybe they had sent you a vinyl copy of your toll charges
  18. I can't wait for this album - Sloan rarely disappoint and I love that each guy gets a side on this one - one of the rare bands where everyone can take lead vocals on a track and you don't roll your eyes - each one has some great tracks they are lead on. Glad to see this is getting a solid vinyl release!
  19. This had a great score and the packaging/colours chosen looks great - depending on how this ends up being priced (less than $40), I will probably pick it up.
  20. I'm probably just going to wait until it hits store shelves, but I think Back to the Shack is a perfectly acceptable lead-off single - Weezer has always picked the most radio friendly pop tune as the lead-off and have had a few gems here and there that never make it out in single form - I don't think we can judge the album direction by just this one track.
  21. Still have this but have updated with a list of other things I'm interested to trade for - open to any offer really. Thanks.
