The Split is actually supposed to be "Hot Pink" instead of Red which I was told by the plant that they actually are but the lighting in their photo was crappy. They should be arriving at our office some time mid this week which I will then post more photos

I'm not trying to get into this argument for the long haul, but i don't think it's fair to write off music fans as only "casual" if they enjoy Taylor Swift's music.

You can enjoy music for the sake of it being well written, marketed, or just down right catchy. That shouldn't dictate where you fall in your passion for music.

As most, my taste range falls all over the place. I would like to think I have a pretty decent knowledge in music and a strong passion for it. The only good thing my dad ever did for me was expand my taste ranges by introducing me to punk at a young age. By 13 I found a place working in music and have busted my ass to make a name for myself ever since. Now I collect vinyl, help out on hip hop tours, and despite years of protesting her first few albums...I jam to some Taylor Swift.

By all means, I am not a casual listener. I appreciate music for what it is and what it does. I enjoy things that are more complex and I love a damn good pop single.

So please, get a grip and don't demean music fans just because their taste is too "mainstream" for you.

You should reread the thread. I never said anything bad about fans of Taylor Swift. I couldn't care less what others like. I don't personally like her music but no big deal.

On the other hand, I do think Taylor is a hack that is only out for money but most musicians, and people in general, are. Again, no big deal.

Only thing wrong with this awesome pressing is the locked groove. So happy the lyrics are in the gatefold, it's about damn time they did that. 

100% positive this is not sold out.  HT customer service has no idea what the fuck they're talking about.  This is the same exact process that has happened with every other HT release that is in demand.  They put in batches as the boxes arrive to the warehouse.

The plant just contacted me about these and looks like they are pressed and going to be included on their record of the week blog this week!
 
Check out a preview below.  The release is 2xlp (the A/B side are black and white configurations, some with oxblood splatter) and then ALL of them have a C/D side of the Green which matches the snake on the EXPANDED artwork and back cover. This release also will have ALL the bonus tracks featuring on the cd/dvd re-issue.  I will post more pics and details once they arrive to our office, which should be sometime early next week and then they should be ON SALE late next week but as always, I will post updates and give a few days heads up once we set a definitive plan.
