  1. My friend just released his latest EP today. Pay what you want style. I'm hoping that he gets enough sales between the digital and the CD to fund a vinyl release. Check it out if you're into hard rock stuff. https://johnlancaster.bandcamp.com/album/a-penchant-for-hell-on-earth
  2. If I remember correctly, when the represses sold out super fast, the band said more were coming in the spring.
  3. I had a moment and thought they had the HT splatter for some reason...
  4. SRC just emailed saying they have some in stock. Hurry! http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Circa-Survive-%252d-Descensus-2XLP.html
  5. Some recent things in the last two months. Smashing Pumpkins - Monuments to an Elegy Smashing Pumpkins - Gish (Reissue) This Will Destroy You - Another Language Coldplay - X&Y ($3 Amazon special) Pray for Sound - Dreamer waiting on Trent Reznor - Gone Girl Soundtrack Stone Temple Pilots - No. 4
  6. Travis, will the HT version have the original track list including Get Out! or will it have the more common track list?
  7. This is $32.99 on Amazon right now. I actually preordered from New on Vinyl ($34.50) but I'm kind of tempted to cancel it and try my luck with getting a white one from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RYGJY1O/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  8. I emailed MOV over the weekend to see if they could give any details about the white LP and pre-ordering from Amazon. MOV says "We can't guarantee this unfortunately as Amazon is a huge online retailer. Please try our store locator for a local shop nearby and contact one of them. My experience is that you will have more luck with indie-stores." So I guess if you want to be guaranteed a white copy, New on Vinyl or another Indie shop will be the best bet.
  9. It's not a repress if it has never been pressed before. But I don't think it's a reissue either.
  10. True, true. But you know what I mean. Returning a damaged record to Amazon is a lot easier than to a small shop in Europe.
  11. Where does this say black? Shouldn't all of these early preorders be for the white? Also, this is on Amazon.com now. $36.99 No. 4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RYGJY1O/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_9hySub0Z6NCRD I'm debating getting it from Amazon or New on Vinyl. I'll probably go with Amazon just so it doesn't have to cross an ocean to get here.
  12. Hell yes. I've got all the other MOV reissues, so this will fit in nicely!
  13. In the initial announcement, he said after Machina I/II he would do Zwan, TheFutureEmbrace, Zeitgeist, Stigmata, and Spun. I don't recall him mentioning American Gothic, but that would be awesome for sure. I think he's been tossing around ideas about the Zwan period, like doing more than just MSOTS, since there is so much material. At least that's the impression I got from some recent interviews.
  14. I just rewatched the Graceful Swans of Never documentary, which was done right after the 2000 split. Hearing very one talk about the band at that point makes me really wonder why they can't bury the hatchet and get on with doing another OG member record. I mean, I like the new music. I don't harp on it not being Smashingg Pumpkins without all four of the members. But goddamn, there was some remarkable chemistry with those four. And watching some of the MCIS studio footage, you see that it wasn't all Billy and Jimmy. James and D'arcy had a lot more involvement than anyone wants to let on. But I guess it's easier to say they didn't so no one looks down on the new output. If you guys haven't watched that doc., it's on YouTube, and it's dope as hell.
  15. If you can't figure it out, you can look it up on what the font. Just upload the picture.
  16. I just hope he doesn't end up back on it, because that's when most people fatally overdose.
  17. Billy said after the proper SP releases, he will reissue MSOTS. I'm hoping to see: Pearl Jam - No Code through Riot Act reissues Singles soundtrack The Crow soundtrack Rusty - Fluke (no chance) The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute God Lives Underwater catalog More copies of Circa Survive - Juturna and On Letting Go Also waiting for the Machina I & II reissues and the Downward is Heavenward reissue.
  18. I've picked up a few things over the last month. Circa Survive - Descensus (Blue/White Splatter) Arms & Sleepers - Swim Team (Electric Blue) Minus the Bear - They Make Beer Commercials (Pink) Minus the Bear - Lost Loves (Yellow/Black Swirl) Foo Fighter - Sonic Highways (Austin cover) Incubus - Morning View (Non-RSD version)
