  1. Unfortunately, the rarest variant of Waves was screwed when they decided to sell more of them a month or so ago. Originally they pressed 300 clear, then did the yellow ones. Now, I don't know what the count is for either. I also don't know if the OG press of Foreword was fewer than the RSD/Orange repress. But yes, for as much disappointment that the self titled had attached to it when they released it, it just keeps getting better.
  2. I'll say it again, God Lives Underwater. Only 1 of their 3 LPs was ever pressed, and they should throw in the EP as well. Might as well press David Reilly's solo stuff while they're at it because it's just as good.
  3. I just caught Pearl Jam last night. I was hoping to snag Lightning Bolt from one of the 10 merch stands there since I've been sleeping on it for so long. But they didn't have any vinyl anywhere. So I just grabbed LB and Backspacer off their website. Really, $15 for Backspacer is a nice deal considering its sitting in my local shop for $27.
  4. According to The Arkive, who runs the older portion of the Beggar's label, there are no plans currently for a repress. I even made it a point to tell them that Superball was churning through their 3,000 copies of Frames. Someday I guess.
  5. Right now, even though it technically isn't a "white whale", it's Oceansize's Effloresce. There's actually a copy on Discogs right now, which is pretty rare, but it's $350. And really, fuck that.
  6. This is a 2nd pressing of the repress that included the bonus tracks. This one is white /300. http://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/511667-moving-mountains-foreword
  7. I have that pressing and agree it sounds amazing. Have you heard the UK Kid A? I've been meaning to track one down, but I wondered if it sounded as good as Amnesiac.
  8. Whatever Billy did to the version of Eye on the Deluxe Edition is fucking amazing. Damn. And if Adore would've been more like the Matt Walker reimagined versions of these songs, I think it would have been far more commercially successful, because those versions are awesome.
  9. Finally got my copy of The Mars Volta's Octahedron in. Word to the wise, if you're ordering from Marvelio through Amazon, be prepared to wait for fucking ever. I got a shipping notification on the 12th and it showed up today, 13 days later. Only if you're shipping on a donkey does it take 13 days to get a package from Pennsylvania to Ohio. Oh, and they don't give you tracking either. /rant Edit: After leaving feedback with them stating I was unhappy with the amount of time it took to receive my shipment, the refunded my Amazon account $15. I wasn't asking for anything and really just wanted to let them know I felt two weeks for a 2 day ship is a long time to wait, so I think that is pretty good customer service.
  10. The records HTDA have put out have been great. I just think that whole project was overshadowed by NIN.
  11. Yeah, the general opinion on this board is SRC sucks for one reason or another. Honestly I have not personally had any issues when ordering from them. But a bunch of other people have. I will say that not refunding money for preorders and only giving store credit is weak shit.
  12. Much to everyone's dismay, SRC is putting it out. http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Weezer-%252d-Death-To-False-Metal-LP.html
  13. I feel the same way. Nothing stood out on first listen. Hopefully it's a grower.
  14. I started collecting in the late 90s while DJ'ing. But I ended up selling mostly everything in the early 2000's to fund other gear. I picked it back up in 2010 and have been slowly trying to accumulate my all-time favorites plus new stuff since everyone is releasing stuff on vinyl again. At this point I have maybe 100 records in total across 12", 10", and 7". I'd love to snag every release that piqued my interest, but I can barely keep up with the must-haves. Still, it's awesome.
