I'm always down for clear vinyl! I get what you mean though. What irks me is when they try but it's off. For example, if this was crayon colored yellow vinyl versus the darker hue of the cover.

Seconded! I had the live bootleg with the phonograph on the cover years ago. It was pretty good little record. That would be a good "reissue." They're coming around my parts in September, so I'll be checking out their live show then. In the meantime, I really need to dig into the new album(s).

So, I just picked up the FTM RSD release (single 12"). I'm going to see if it fits in the box later. I know it will if I remove the book but that idea really irritates me. Either way, stoked to have it finally.

Two year anniversary! It's already been two years? Wow, I think back to all the things I was doing back then, when this boxset came out, and the nostalgia hits me hard. I might just have to order this repress, for old times sake.

I will agree I was confused by the lack of green in the first one. It was so close to the cover art, but still not quite. Either way, I think they're both ugly as shit, but whatever. I'm just really glad that A) they repressed everything and b) plan to keep the blackish one in print for awhile.

It's amazing to watch a disagreement on VC not result in tantrums and locked threads. I'm really proud of you guys.

Great price. I believe I paid like $35 for a copy of that a couple of years ago.

I don't understand how anyone who understands records can look at a double (or more) LP and think "let's just make the sleeve extra wide and shove everything in there. Seems like the best way." I would rather have a gatefold with literally nothing on the inside than a thin cardboard box holding 4 vinyl circles. *heavily eyeballs the Fear deluxe on my shelf*

I honestly considered it a 50/50 gamble.

Wonder if I'll ever get that signed copy and t-shirt...? 🙃
