  1. /100 Clear vinyl is actually listed on the product page as part of this pressing run. Obviously with the obligatory hint that it should not be requested.
  2. some of those variants could turn out incredibly good-looking. I'll wait and see how much these will be retail over here. Not my favorite Death album, but this has my hopes up we don't have to wait much longer for them to re-release Individual Thought Patterns :-)
  3. me too. Nice packaging job and a sweet release all around. About to spin this now. edit: just finished my first listen. I recommend you take the lyrics along right from the start, they are my favorite thing about the record so far. And damn, "New Halloween" is going to make folks cry, there's no doubt about that.
  4. thanks man! I guess you are attending the Euro tour? Because that should be the most reliable info for me then. It would be appreciated! Let's hope they bring some cool stuff over.
  5. Maybe someone on here knows: Did they still have any colored vinyl/tour editions of ToT and GoE with them recently? Seeing them in two weeks and looking forward to grabbing a nice copy of GoE from the merch table
  6. Discogs reviews for pretty much any Jagjaguwar release (previous Bon Iver, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Volcano Choir, just to name a few) show constant pressing issues. Like I said, I got lucky myself with my copy of s/t - the internet is full of people complaining about awful sounding copies. If it turns out to be hit-or-miss for this release, I'm going to hold off until a sale or something...
  7. So down for new Bon Iver, however I will hold off purchasing this on vinyl until a halfway deccent pressing quality isn't confirmed. While my copy of s/t plays fine actually, the negative reviews for pretty much any Jagjaguwar release on vinyl all over the internet have me worried I just wouldn't spin it if it just sounds like ass.
  8. thank you for your help so far. Getting a clear is not an option for me unfortunately as it comes out at about $40 shipped to my country. If the US retail copy is fine, I'll just get that one as it is also available over here. In case you actually do spin it any time soon, your feedback about the pressing is very welcome as reference! :-)
  9. just checked this out by chance and the clear variant is still available from their webstore, in case anyone is looking to buy it. On another note, as I am not eager to read through 40 pages, could anyone tell me what variant of this is actually listenable? I heard that there were immense problems with surface noise. How about the regular US retail press for example? I dig this album and all I need is a nice vinyl copy for listening :-) thank you!
  10. Don't get me wrong, I'm still looking forward to its release and will most probably continue supporting the band if I like the new record in any way :-)
  11. I've been wondering for a while when there would be a second press, considering the crazy amount of 1st press copies. Also crazy how they seem to have sold out of them, I'm happy for the band even though I'm not super stoked for Stage Four for some reason..
  12. to be honest I've been seeing copies of this every once in a while at different record stores/online outlets. Maybe availability has been different in the US, but at least over here this record hasn't been hard to find at all.
  13. Euro tour announced. Not sure yet if I want to attend, it would help if Bassett stayed at home though does anyone who will be supporting them on this tour? edit: not looking to beat a dead horse or start another discussion with my first line. just personal opinion.
  14. does this sound as good as the If You're Reading This... bootleg?
  15. my yellow copy sounds really wonky on the first few seconds of track A1, but becomes pretty much flawless sounding after that.
  16. grabbed two bundles for me and a friend, the "make it hurt" shirt and the Prayer Chain 7". Here's to hoping German customs won't bust me for additional tax.
  17. I'm glad the bonus tracks are included in the Spotify version of this album. Especially 'The Heavenly Blue Flu' is downright great.
  18. the more I listen to this album, the more keep the vocals and their overall style reminding me of this band/record: the tone of the voice and articulation are really reminiscent, even though the instrumentation differs quite vastly of course.
  19. It's rare that "black w/ splatter" patterns turn out really distinct. There's still some yellow and some orange, so I think it will fit the artwork anyway :-)
  20. Yeah that's weird indeed, but he's got the splatter pressing which is exclusive to the Vertigo Flowers edition if I'm not mistaken. Let's just agree that this is still better than some dude posting a clear copy.
  21. some guy on instagram has uploaded pics of his Vertigo Flowers variant (look for the bandofnothing hashtag), so unless he's close with the band these seem to be shipping already. Just me speculating though.
  22. I'm not complaining either. It's a decent packaging job and I like the glossy finish. 23€ isn't so super cheap and I've seen cooler/more elaborate packaging for less, but it's alright for a rare variant. At the end of the day it's an awesome record, I think "Our Plague" is my fav off of it so far.
