  1. just wanted to share my surprise that on their current euro tour the band is selling a white pressing of this album. My friend's copy looks exactly like the EU exclusive white /300, but it did NOT come with a handnumbered sticker on the shrink wrap. Thus, I'm not really sure what the exact pressing info on this might be.
  2. someone else said this a few pages prior. Are those exceptions? Maybe some other folks who were able to grab a copy can comment on this.
  3. they have the new pressing on tour with them so it should be with you quite soon.
  4. still need to listen to the new song, but the retail variant sounds really nice. That will be the only affordable option for us euro folks, but I'm fine with that.
  5. that song is way too good. Been playing the stream so many times since it got put up. The last line of the article puts it quite right: "It’s a desperately sad song upheld by optimistic, surging instrumentals."
  6. steep price on the PO, I hope SideOneDummy will make this as affordable as Floral Green. I was not a super fan of Jar, but it got me to pay attention what this band is up to in the future, so I'm looking to forward to a first single or stream or whatever. The cover art looks sick!
  7. oh sorry, I obviously confused something there. Will edit my original post accordingly.
  8. will pick up the RSD 7" if the price is fair. According to this list there will be 1000 copies on clear/white/blue swirl vinyl for RSD. I'm assuming that after that there will be a regular pressing most probably with a lower price tag. But let's see :-)
  9. didn't like their output up to Magnolia so much, but Blue Dream was awesome. Let's see what this has to offer
  10. wow, that second edition sounds nice. Didn't really check out the album before but that will change now.
  11. beautiful release and I find myself liking this surprisingly much. Will probably get one of the albums from Northern Silence when POs in their store go up.
  12. pretty bummed about Reaper's price policy for the European customers. The limited MerchPit edition was very reasonably priced (14€ i believe). As you all know Reaper recently put up the info that a 2nd pressing is available from Core Tex Records (Berlin) to make it cheaper for EU/German customers, Core Tex and Reaper seem to have a kind of collaboration going on. I looked it up in the Core Tex webstore and they are charging 19,99€ for it. Twenty fucking euros. For a punk LP. God damn, add shipping and you almost hit the 25€ mark. What grinds my gears even more is that (if I recall correctly) Core Tex listed the original pressing back then with a 15,99€ price tag (or something in that range) and obviously simply jacked it up because the album is (deservedly) successful. I'm not shouting "SELLOUT" here, but as much as I would like to own this on vinyl I simply refuse to pay that much money. I'm seeing Turnstile twice in the spring so I hope they have some copies with them on tour for a decent price.
  13. any info on when this is getting a repress or vinyl release in europe? i've listened through this thing twice now and find myself digging it a LOT.
  14. any source for that hassle with the label? i did not hear of it and would like to know.
  15. EU exclusive handnumbered /300 seems to be sold out. God damn, why did I wait so long
  16. I already own their (in my opinion) most important albums on vinyl, the only thing I still need is a god damn repress of Takk... still looking forward to what these guys are up to in the new year!
  17. damn, wish they would've done these in time for their Euro tour this year... already super jealous on those who have the chance to snag one!
  18. from what I've understood from their posting just the bonus songs on the D side are remastered to fit the rest of the album. I might be wrong though, and I would definitely be interested in a remastered version of the whole record! besides that, I'm sure I will get a copy of this to accompany my OP copy. Just have to see how it works out as it would be effing expensive to ship a double gatefold LP to Germany... maybe (this has happened with several recent CYLS releases) it will get listed on Germany's Amazon marketplace so I could pick it up for quite cheap.. hard to decide as I've already dropped $80 on the pre-order of their second full-length. Then again, this is my favorite band in the genre and this is one of my definite all-time favorite records.
