Yea I feel you. Just seems like it made sense being both albums through Warner Bros and how the badn said the label was "working on it". And since there hasnt been a peep about it since July. But you're right in the fact that I'd rather have a beautiful deluxe edition of the albums or something. Even though outside of RSD I bet WB wouldnt go through that trouble..

So are we all of the same thinking that we're gonna hear of a more widespread repress of this for general distribution/pre-order? If not, I would think they're leaving alot of money on the table...

I can't even imagine. I met my now wife when I was young too (16) and got married 4 years later when I was 20. Would really screw my world up losing her. Just hang in there man. I know it seems daunting to pick up that record or press play in the car, but I know for me personally, music was always a catharsis when things got bad. I remember when I lost my dad to cancer 7 years ago, just hearing certain songs would bring everything back. And even if I broke down and started to ball like a baby, somehow I felt better for it.

Same. Mine actually shows it was shipped and picked up from Albany, NY on Tuesday 9/27 and the next morning it was at Jersey City facility. But hasnt moved since. And it's showing ETA of Wed. 10/5 for me as well. Strange.

This. Only pre-order that came in exactly on release date in recent memory was Weezer's White Album. Literally no shipping notification or anything. Just came home and that beautiful Tri-Color was sitting on the porch.

Currently listening to Southern Air straight through. YC's true last hoorah. Gonna miss that band. Can still remember playing drums along with every song on Lights & Sounds...

Glad I'm not the only one. To me it's all the little things : great songs/melodies but with a weird effect on Ryan's vocal the whole time. Or maybe the song jus seems slow. And number one mistake on my list is the absence of LP's drumming (also my gripe on Lift A Sail) There's jus no creativity with the drum parts. Jus a simple driving beat where the snare and bass drum tracks overtake any cymbals. It's the same feeing I'd get if Blink put out another album without Travis : the songs could be killer but without his creative parts, they'd more than likely fall flat. In my opinion whenEver I think of proper goodbye from YC, I'll mainly listen to Souther Air album, the title track closer still gives me goosebumps at the end.

Totally late and random post/question. Did anyone else have a misprint on the pink Pageant Material pressing? Mine has 'Side B' label printed on both sides. I have to look at the dead wax inscription each time I spin it to see which is A or B lol Just wondering if anyone else had some problem.
